Don't know where I got my results. Looks like Casey Clinger and #2 AF guy went 4:08 and 4:11. Still, must be about 4600 feet there and it was cold with a backstretch headwind.

So with altitude and wind conversion, Clinger went sub-4, right?
5 seconds NCAA conversion
Would you give him 3 seconds for wind? Or maybe 2 for wind and 1 for cold, since you brought it up.

I'm not one of the posters writing a word about altitude. Just excited for these guys running well at this time. You have probably run in a horrible wind in your face, at 4600 ft. Wasn't suggesting any faster time, just saying he is strong, unhurt and a month and a half from our state meet. I'm just a fan that's all.

Look at this snowflake. someday to be cuckold; triggered by talk of the weather,,
Alright I give up. Clinger, Johns and Parker of AF, will all lose. Their times at UVU were worthless. They will just go backwards all year. If they go to sea level, they will run 20 seconds slower. They will not break the 4x1600. They are all just big talkers.

XD don't worry about all these triggered liberal snowflakes. They're just get mad when people have a different opinion than them. But those are very good times for those two. Not to mention the other AF guy ran the 800m in 1:50.

Hey sore pants. I was responding to the person below you, not you. That is why I quoted him,,
8:54 and 4:08 are sick times at sea-level and even nastier at altitude. How much nastier? no one knows but nastier indeed and most definitely. Someone buy these kids some big gulps and celebrate!
Not sure how the poster above me managed to bring in politics fit in the word "liberal" into this conversation. Very weird, ,very very weird,, someone is clearly hurt in his bunghole over some other political thread and brings that garbage over here.

;) ;) naw, I just blame everything on liberals
Everyone is a tough guy when their hiding behind their computer. The poster mentioning "Liberal" is just messing around. I appreciate his post. Also I wasn't responding to your post. It appears AF is gonna go after the 4 X 1600 National record at Arcadia this Friday night...at around 8:00pm..Cal. time. Arcadia is gonna give a free feed. Am I wrong on this?

I think you are right, I didn't know that they were racing the 4x1600 but from what I've seen, Arcadias feed will be free
take PRs add 17 seconds due to having to run alone

Wow this came up fast. I was thinking much later in the year. AF site says Casey's little brother, Carson is forth man. Mckay Johns and Patrick Parker seem ready to go. I got to bet on their coach. I believe he knows exactly what he is doing. Good luck to them. I wonder who will be handing off to whom. Casey is gonna run for his little brother. Here we go!

This is going to be really interesting to watch. Carson, a sophomore, will be running somewhere around 4:30, I'm guessing closer to 4:25 considering he ran 4:30 on the 29th and Timo, their coach, does know what he is doing. I think he will have all of his athletes ready for some pretty big times in this attempt. I'm gonna give Casey a 4:05 and Patrick and Mckay 4:08's. That'll be good for 16:46. Destroys the current record. Let's see what happens.
Also, to add on to what Carson can run, his 4:30 won his race so he probably could have run even faster with some better competition.
Think your right on. I think last year as Juniors, Mckay and Patrick went 4:09 and 4:10 at Arcadia. Don't remember if that was full mile or 1600. Carson also ran a PR, I think, of 2:03 high 800 recently. That 150, 800 by, was it Patrick , that is a bit scary. I'm thinking the 3 seniors are gonna average out under a 4:09. Wonder if Utah news stations would be interested?
Will Clinger repeate...?

What time is the Arcadia 3200 scheduled for?
On Arcadia schedule it shows the men's 3200 meter invitational at 8:47PM, on Saturday night. I think that is it. AF web site, Coach Timo lists Mckay and Casey running the 3200 Sat. night. Live free feed also.
