It looked like molly raised her arms to celebrate right as Enfield snuck through in the inside...
It's wild how often that pros lose as they celebrate.

Infeld was boxed in the 1st lane and lucky to get by.
Official results:
Cheruiyot
Berka
Infeld
Huddle
Kipyego
Flanagan
Now they're showing sprinters sitting around in the gym instead of showing the steeplechase coming up next.
Kenya, Ethiopia, and US runners go 1 - 9. That's some pretty good company.
I'm predicting the steeplechase races will be a good pace.

Someone said she celebrated early but it seemed to me she slowed down a bit early in frustration that she wasn't competing for gold. I'd have to watch it again
Just saw the replay and Molly threw her arms up one step away from the line.
DAMN
She immediately congratulated Emily when they saw the results though. That has to hurt.

What an idiot. Seriously. Youve trained for this all your life and you dont even run through the line. Theres noe excuse and she'll regret this forever.
No reason to drift out from lane 1, no reason to celebrate before the line.
One of the first lessons of running. Hasn't she ever watched the video of Steve Ovett being beaten by John Treacy? Anyway well done to the US there. Kate Avery down the field a bit in 15th but not too bad.
can't wait for the sc!!
Haha. Run through the line, B!tch.

Molly post race interview: "She got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and she took it." Wow, seriously? Like Infeld has one shot ever to be great and this is it, but Molly can compete internationally every time? Wow, Molly. Just grab your sour grapes and go sit.
Birech is tough ~ I like him, great runner.
Yeah, guys, Infeld tried to pass Huddle with about 80m to go, almost got past, then Huddle surged again and tied up right before the line. Happens all the time, at all levels.
You might fault Huddle for trying to emulate Mo Farah on the last two laps, but she and Infeld were both clearly giving 100%.
Jager to front in 2nd... good.

I'm sure she didn't mean it that way. Extremely, totally graceful.
Great race by Infield.
You would think after all the vids and pics of people being passed at the line in the last year the pro's would run through the line not 5 feet before it. Not that they pay attention to it but shit find a handler, basic stuff basic stuff that all the talent and speedwork wont get u.
Wtb common sense.
moderate pace at this point
I think she let off because she hand her arms up celebrating. Infeld - hats off!
Shouldn't be celebrating bronze medals anyway. Hate when athletes grab a flag and do a lap of honor when they didn't even win.
SO 36 AND change to teh finish then a 67.5 first full lap finish to finish so that's not fast. THat would be 828 pace if they did the whole race like that, but the last lap would be fast so it they'd still break 8:20.
2:49.50 at 1k so same pace.
Looks like the last lap was around 61 sec or so. Does anyone have the split for the last lap? Hoping that Huddle would medal, but looked like she did let up a bit in the last 10 meter or so.
8:28.50 pace. Too slow.

Nope she let up. That blows
