I have no idea what Lagat could run for a mile now. 3:54? I'll go with that.
me too. lagat is amazing. 7:48 and a final 26s lap - he will literally smash every masters record from 800m to 10000m.

I was there for Coghlan's record. If I'm not mistaken, Gray was his rabbit for 1200m. It was run in the middle of the high school state meet held at Harvard. Very exciting.

John kellogg has converted the 1k marks.
He says Moser's win equates to a 2:00.71 and Cain's runner-up to
2:01.00.
I know the result wasn't great for Uceny but I liked how she was challenging for the front on the 4th lap.
It can't be worth that much.

Mary Cain fans, remember this Dawit girl is the one that ran 3:59 last year and many thought Mary cain wanted no part of and hence Cain ran the 3000 at World Jrs not 1500.
I said in a previous thread that Mary owes AlSal a big thanks for keeping her out of the World Jr. 1500. Dawit handily beat Sally Kipyego and Emma Coburn. I don't exactly know what to make of a 5:35.46 2k time but if you think of mile with an extra 400, this appear about equal to a 4:21 mile.
Yes, yes...a star is born.

7:48 and a last lap of 26s is more than likely enough to beat the mile/1500m records. we will see it next weekend.
1:48 is something different. lagat does not like the 800m and he as well as coach li mentioned in an interview that 1:20 for 600m-intervals becomes difficult.

Yes, 4:21 is about right. Should be interesting to see her match up against Mary and Rowbury outdoors. Simpson and Dibaba are a step ahead.

Rowbury will be right there with the world's best this year.
