No, I am sticking by my contention that actual performances are what matters and when you look at actual performances his are best over 1500m and get worse the longer the race.
Your counterargument is that you apparently can use conversions and that the times from your conversions are more important than actual races.
I'm sticking to the facts, you can hang w/ Ventolin all you want.
1. His performances don't get worse the longer the distance. As I've already shown you, his 10k is more impressive than his 5k.
2. His 5k wasn't all out. What don't you understand about that? We don't know his true ability at 5k. He says he's gotten better since 2011 when he ran a 12:53 with a 53 last lap. This is proof of 12:4x shape. You can argue semantics of words all you want, but it's physically impossible for someone to run a 12:53 with a 53 last lap if they weren't in better shape. We also know his endurance has gotten better since 2011 since he went from 60:28 to 60:10 in the half-marathon.
An equivalent performance to his 1500 is a 12:45.99 5k. He ran near that in 2011 and his speed and endurance have improved, so of course his 5k has.
Anyway most of this is irrelevant to your original argument that Farah is a 1500. No 1500 guy could run a 60:10 Half-Marathon and win the WC 10k in the same season.
