Any chance Ryan gets back with Mahon and the B.A.A?

You mean besides that 12:56 5000m he ran, right?

Regarding Hall, Ritz has the highest Olympic 26.2 finish. 1980 was boycotted, so unfair to hold against Alberto. I realize Hall has done a lot at 26.2- but personally, I want the higher Olympic finish, over a lower finish & DNF by Hall.

Muscle milk will probably cause some sort of training setback, causing me to withdraw from all my planned races for two years
Most Asics shoes have a 10-12mm drop, which is very unnatural. Can't really compensate that with POSE (CrossFit kinda running) style.
Muscle Milk has a lot of soy in it and will make you weak and feminine.
The only shoe Ryan trains in with that much drop is the Cumulus (11mm), which he claims is strictly his easy run shoe. His workout shoe favorites include the ds trainer (9mm), the gel hyperspeed (6mm), and the gel lyte (6mm). I'm not saying the shoes arent doing him in, but it's likely not the drop unless he's getting hurt in his easy run shoe.
Please tell me Pam Anderson is still running. I could not stand to hear she has will DNS because she over trained too.

You must have some odd rankings then, ranking Ritz above Paul Tergat and Haile Gebrselassie as well. Wow, dude.

ROTFLMAO.
12:56? Do you mean the 154th-fastest time ever run for the event? (http://www.alltime-athletics.com/m_5000ok.htm)
Is that how low NOP supporters have sunk? To pretend that 154th all-time is comparable to third in Boston?
Thank you for proving my point. Moron.
I'll say it again, Ritz's career is NOTHING compared to Hall's. Ritz's OWN FANS have no better argument that the 154th ranked 5000 on the all-time lists.

Only about one hundred men ever finished third in the Boston Marathon. Good call
You all can rip on Hall all you want. It's better he pulled out now than goes home DEVASTATED.

Which do you like the sound of better:
"Robert F Clark, third at the 2017 Boston Marathon"
or
"Robert F Clark, once ranked 154th all-time in the 5k"?

Unless you have a stronger argument that Ritz's career holds a candle to Hall's, that is...
Oh, you don't?

In the year 2020, nobody but a few American nerds like us will remember who Ritz was. He has tapped out already, without doing all that much. Great talent, great accomplishments, but pretending he's the best of the Ritz/Hall/Webb trio is insane.
AR > world 154th all-time
Ryan HATES training with others. So suggestions to go run with Kenyans or any group of runners is not going to happen. Even while training with Mammoth, he NEVER ran workouts with others.
Ryan is a very talented strange bird. What makes sense for others does not make sense to Ryan. So logical suggestions are not logical in the brain of Ryan Hall.

Except whatever he is doing (not training for proper paces) is not working.

I once ran a 1:29 Half Marathon. That was the first time I broke 1:30. So on to the next goal, sub 1:20. I adjusted my training paces for 1:19 and 5 weeks in, I got injured.
I consider myself noticeably smarter than Ryan Hall yet I made the same mistake, therefore I feel sad for him, too.
