If this doesn't happen I am going to boycott letsrun.
Brojos- don't make promises you can't keep. GIVE THE MAN SOME $$$. He could be an outside threat to make London.
I'm a huge Mack fan. I think the idea of LetsRun working to collect money from UMVs for various sub-elite runners was a great concept. Fam was able to collect some cash from fans across the country. I'd do the same for Mack if there was an official way to donate to his sponsorship.
Sounds like Brojos are trying to make this work. Hopefully it happens.

Well now I'm reconsidering my stance.
DO IT BROJOS!
Do it! BMack all the way!
Brojos you got to go through with this.
Maybe the whole LetsRun tshirt design thing is tied in with this? I mean, they have never sold shirts in the history of the website despite everyone wanting them.
Bobby Mack--THE FACE OF LETSRUN
I heard Mack just ran a 3:59 mile in unreal conditions. Can someone fill me in?

Here's what happened:
Bobby went up to NY with Stephen Furst to run a mile at Warwick. The meet got delayed a bunch, then cancelled. A few guys decided they still wanted to run, and they got two guys from the stands who said they could pace them through two laps. The storm had passed for the most part, but Bobby went out and ran a 3:59 mostly alone. I don't have a lot of details of the race, but I'll post them here when I do.
Found the official results. Mile was the last event.
So this is what the tshirt design is all about.. all he'll get is a shitty tshirt lol
Mack Attack! Brojos, will you sponsor him?
No questions about his sponsorship.
Great read!
Foreword by Stephen Furst:
Bobby Mack is a Volunteer Assistant at NC State and works full-time at Capital RunWalk in Raleigh, NC. He regularly drags his training partners Ryan Hill (13:31, 7:43, 3:39 5-time All-American), Andrew Colley (15th at NCAA XC), Sandy Roberts (NCAA 5000 Finalist) and I through the mud in workouts, particularly on days when it's hot, humid, cold, windy, wet, or for-some-other-reason uncomfortable. He will run the 10,000 at the (Olympic) Trials next month, get married in October, and probably keep beating the prize money out of 25 year-olds until he is 50.

I honestly cannot believe the Brojos are missing out on this opportunity, especially with Puma now associated so closely. I can only assume they are finalizing a deal and want to announce it when it's ready.
This is whats effed up about the pro/semi pro running world. Give the guy some damn money. Obviously from that article he has been working incredibly hard and has a lot of passion. He's only getting older and won't be around forever. Why not give him some funds so that he can truly see what he is capable of. Up to this point he has been working hard but still had a lot of other stuff on his mind. Give him money
And BTW that's a nice website...keep it up.
