I called it for Kiplagat, Rotich, Mergia.

Kenya 1-2-3. What a surprise.
I am surprised that the Ethiopians let it go after such a great first half.

Thanks again for that link. It works great with linux.
Kiplagat moved in front of Cherop at the water tables and then stopped. It is no wonder that Cherop ran into her. Fortunately both were okay and continued. That was quite an exciting finish.
It looks like the IAAF put the steeple qualifying both ways, so now they've let in the first 4 of each heat, plus the next 3 fastest times.
Picked it 3/3!
I thought that Letsrun was planning on reporting from Daegu? NO RESULTS ????? Even unofficial finishes for the Americans. Nobody gives a shit in an hour. We can get them then without being there.
so watergate was about water?

Thank you for posting this link, much appreciated! It was hilarious listening to the British commentators berate the Kenyan women for that fall at the water station. I believe they used the words "total incompetence". But hey those girls still kicked ass and I loved seeing three Kenyan flags in the medal ceremony! Can't wait for the men's and women's 10k now!!!!!

nothing slips by you does it Vinnie!!!!!!!
Also, commentators called the fall "completely incompetent." Come now that's a little strong. Exhausted people have worse reaction times.
Anyone know what happened to Mergia and Dire Tune of Ethiopia? Mergia is listed as a DNF before 10k, and Tune got DQed.
ScottEvil wrote:Also, commentators called the fall "completely incompetent."
the 2 athletes involved have to be dq'ed
it can't be disproved voluntary bodily contact didn't increase velocity
irespective of help/ask, they both need dq

I had Mergia in the contest effectivly killing any chance she had to get on the podium. Don;t know what happened with Tune (The False Start maybe?)
