Rupp, what a bust. Chris ran 7:50s winning NCAAs

Nah, it was much faster than that.
Rupp needs a new coach. It's obviously not working any more.
The TV station cut to a soccer match after the Men's 200m. Some trends are unfortunately universal.
Lagat just set a new AR in the 3000m - 7:29.00. After 8 months of constant racing he can still pull out a great effort.
Rupp has used up his base. Past peak for the season. Same for Solinsky.

the meet was behind. not the station's fault.
Yet Solinsky runs 16 seconds faster than Rupp.
Yeh, I gotta agree. You have to believe CS would've most likely (pure speculation) been in the 7:31-32 range maybe aven AR range at his peak this summer. INcredible season either way. Also to pull out a PR after one of the best if not THE best American distance season(s), ain't bad. Great job Chris, great season.
Galen Rupp will still run faster times and have a more successful career than Chris Solinsky.
