Coach Squires had a track history book called....I can't remember the name! "Fast Track"? Really good read.
Also has anybody mentioned Tom Osler's book called something about "Serious Runner's Guidebook" or something like that? Very interesting book.
Nobby, Osler's book was "Serious Runners Handbook" 1978.
Another of his books was "Ultramarathoning, the next challenge" 1979.
Both books published by World Publications.
Yeah, that's the one. Picture of Shorter and Rodgers on the front cover. I got that for 30 cents at University bookstore. Very interesting... Has anybody mentioned Marty Liquori's Guide to Distance Running (or something like that...)? Of course, coming from the Lydiard school, I found it very interesting as well.
