We've merged a ton of threads into 1. Other thread titles included, "The Pagan Olympics" another was called, "France Summer up in 1 picture", "Paris 2024: Child R*pist athlete, Satanic Opening Ceremony, Drag queens gyrating next to young girls..." and “Does not wanting my kids to watch a bisexual threesome at the Olympics make me a bigot?”
Anybody doing the same for Islam in France would get beheaded. Teachers who simply draw a picture of Mohammed get beheaded by their 'French' students. You're comparing this to somebody on.a forum expressing an opinion that it's mocking Christianity??
I know it's just a painting, but it looks like all the guys at the vaunted Last Supper were wearing dresses too. All of them - Jesus, Peter, John, Simon, even Judas, all wearing dresses.
The worst bit is the disgraceful obese Miss Piggy in the middle. How is any of this related to sport and a celebration of athletics - weird drag queens gyrating and mocking a religion. I *dare* them to mock Islam! It was offensive to tens of millions of people (both for its crudity, trans agenda, s*xual gyrating and the mocking of a major religion). Even if one is not Christian, it is not okay to mock what others hold dear. Solidarity with Christians on this one. Buddhists, Muslims and other major religions should have the Christian’s back on this one. The whole thing was *Totally* disgusting, out of place, weird and unacceptable. btw, half my family is French and think the same!
Okay, now that's going too far. If you want to wear dresses at the Last Supper re-enactment play, that's one thing. But I draw the line at urinating on Jesus in any context. Larry David should be banned from all future Olympics.
Yes, something happens and I have to run straight to twitter or an online forum to post about it. Or even better, have twitter form my opinions for me. That ceremony has cringe and cheesy, very euro and French. Provoking? Perhaps for the easily provoked. Maybe they were honoring or paying homage to a famous scene, from a painting. Maybe invoking inclusivity. Not many other religions have similar famous iconography to pay homage to. Paris has always been a shirtyhole. The still shot of the performer seems to show a tear in his hose. Society is devolving because of these platforms that allow morans to quickly disseminate misinformation and propaganda. Sadly, there are so many looking to be fed disinformation. The worst part is that because other mediums need content, then they continue the cycle by covering the “reaction” online, propagating the noise. If we’re all doomed, it’s because of this.
Sorry conservatives. You and all your children are gay now. As you know, that's what happens when you see men in dresses: you turn gay. This was a globalist psyop run to perfection and now theres nothi g you can do. In just a matter of days, you will develop lisps, a deep love of Chappell Roan, and a preference for wine coolies instead of beer.
Enraged right wingers angrily shout at their computer screens while praying Obi Don Trump comes to save them. Once they calm down they go back to their empty lives driven by greed and consumption, living anything but a good Christian life.
There's more good heart and joy in every Elton John song than the average US right winger. Who's real heroes are the rapacious predators like the eagle, lion and tiger.
Imagine getting wound up by all that and letting it spoil your day! It's good to see the light finally!
guys. doing parodies of the last supper painting is a practically universal practice (ok, maybe not in puritan USA). it's not 'mockery.' and even if it was, this painting is not part of your 'religion.' it was done by a guy in the 15th century depicting something that - if it occurred - surely looked NOTHING like what is seen in the painting (and not just because everyone is white)
if there's a 'portent of the times' here, it's that much of the USA has become a cult and is heading toward making idiocracy into a documentary

Oh look, a bunch of guys dressed up in Drag. What do you know, it’s been happening since the beginning of time. All of the sudden you add makeup and jewelry and it’s a crime and is grooming our children. Meanwhile child beauty pageants exist and those little girls are forced into outlandish outfits and caked on layers of makeup/eyeliner/blush etc. I love all the downvotes and yet, you only dislike it and want to ban it because it makes YOU uncomfortable. Rather than allow that person to express themselves. It was never about the kids.
The French have always, unrepentantly been of an artistic nature. This involves certain departures from social norms and mores. Actually it involves a degree of provocation and defiance. They could not care less about your "strait" expectations and boundaries. Its part of what makes them French. May it last forever!

Hey, take it easy. This isn't the Inquisition here. All I'm saying is that if Jesus AND Judas can both wear dresses at the same dinner, then it's not that big a deal if some guys 2000+ years later wear dresses at an international event. Okay? So, don't get your knickers in a twist.
