Do you think Biden or Kamala have any idea what the bible says?
I’ve never called it my favorite book, and the first remark by Trump was a reply to a follow-up that was asked after he had called the Bible his favorite book.
Moreover, this isn’t about me, but it’s entirely possible that I clear the low bar of having greater command of facts and being more articulate than Trump.
The key point is that if we were to list the 50 best and 50 worst moments of Trump and Harris speaking, I’m very confident that Harris would strongly appear to be the one more strongly in command of facts, the English language, and general thinking capacity (again, it’s nice to have a low bar to clear).
The notion that Kamala Harris or any democrat has a command of the facts is absurd.
The bible is the most significant book ever written whether you agree with what's in it or not. It's entirely plausible to consider it your favorite book without having committed it to memory.

And nice try on moving the goal posts to insinuating that one must have the whole thing or even substantial parts of it memorized.
For answer one, he just needed enough detail to explain, not necessarily anything verbatim. For the second, he had a prepared speech, time to prepare, and a script
There are millions of people who consider themselves to be Christian who've never read the bible and couldn't quote you a single verse.
Who cares?
You live and function in a Judaeo-Christian society operating under Judaeo-Christian morality whether you pretend otherwise or not.
Now you addd a weird misogynistic creep like JD Vance and that makes Kamala even more favorable
I strongly resent the characterization of Vance as a creep!
He is pure misogynistic, White-trash, token White-male DEI if he's anything at all!
When you idiots call literally EVERYONE who isn't in your cult racist and misogynist all you're doing is demonstrating how absolutely useless your opinions are.
1. Yes, there are out there people who justify violence on all parts of the political spectrum. However, the justification of violence is heavily, heavily on the left. I consider myself a pretty "average" American in a lot of ways, and I know this because I'm shocked by it whenever I see it and pay attention to it. There just aren't a lot of people in the center and on the right who seriously talk like this. There is a small but significant (and vocal) minority of the left who not only support political violence but are apparently happy to try to persuade others as well.
Currently one-third of Republicans support violence as a means to save the country, compared with 22% of independents and 13% of Democrats, the survey found. More specifically, Republicans who have favorable views of Donald Trump were found to be "nearly three times as likely as Republicans who have unfavorable views of Trump" to support political violence.
Nearly a quarter of Americans believe that "patriots may need to resort to violence to save the country" while an overwhelming majority think democracy is at risk in a new PRRI survey.

There are millions of people who consider themselves to be Christian who’ve never read the Bible, don’t do anything Christian, don’t follow the teachings of Jesus, pick and choose what parts of the sins they approve, worship Trump , don’t understand Jesus’ message, are hateful and callous
who cares what they “consider” themselves. They aren’t good people

You don't need to be a christian to be a good person.
I realize she's the current VP, but I always took it for granted she would not be a serious consideration if Biden were to drop out. Now, it seems like she's almost a shoe-in for the nomination, something I find very surprising, almost as if the Dems are deliberately taking the L this go around so they can focus more on putting forward a real candidate in 4 years. Polls have shown Kamala Harris is hugely unpopular... Does anyone seriously think she can win?
At this point it doesn't matter who it is. Now it will be Kamala.
This is just Democracy vs Project 2025. That's all.
In most cases being “Christian “ probably prevents you being a good person
This subject runs deep. In layman’s term you have to admit you are not a good person, then you can become a Christian. Blessed are the meek, the poor, the weak, and the humble ones.
American Christians are not truly Christians. They are evangelicals with core belief that if you claim to be a Christian, you will become a Christian. Many evangelicals also believe the fruits of faith are prosperity and liberty. Those are not true Biblical teachings.
IF Trump runs a mistake-free campaign the rest of the way, he wins. Probability of that happening ...? If Harris loses, her political career is done. Which might explain the enthusiasm to fall in line behind her. That way she's not around to mess up the more winnable 2028 race.
People watching more than 10 seconds of trump speak and still deciding he's the right man to lead our country are suffering from nothing short of Stockholm Syndrome. There are better candidates out there and I don't know if Kamala could beat a single of them other than Trump.
