As a male, American high school student, you can declare that you are female, participate in female sports, and if you are capable you can win the state championship and there is literally nothing that the females can do about it, because you are supported by a system that has always prioritized male dominance in all things over the needs and rights of females.
This is PEAK - MALE - PRIVILEGE
Consider:
If a female, with credible evidence, claims she was raped by a male celebrity, many in society will immediately call her a liar. They will scream "NO PROOF!"
If a male, with all evidence and science to the contrary, declares that he is a girl, many in society will say he is telling the truth. They will not care about "proof."
Women have it so freaking bad in so many ways.
Hilarious that your brain is so right-pill rotted that you made a pretty strong case that we should treat trans girls as full girls. Welcome to the right side of history.
I think you accidentally admitted that "trans girls" are not actually "full girls."
Oopsie!
(And you could use some work on your reading comprehension.)
50 states, there are typically 16 events per a regular state track meet, that’s 16 events times 50 states is 800 opportunities.
Actually, there are way more than 800 opportunities. Most states have multiple divisions of high school championships. For example, Maine has three divisions (Class A, B, and C). The trans athlete in 800m won Class C championships. The winners of Class A and Class B had faster times. The trans runner actually ranks #7 in the state, and the #1 ranked girl didn't even run 800m in the state meet. (She won 1600m where she is also ranked #1.)
Lmao even if this were true, nothing would pass because Republicans--who have the House majority--would trip over themselves to agree with Trump and not vote the federal ban through. Just a cluster everywhere, man.
To OP: Not sure how many actual Democrats you know, but sectioning athletes based on their gender identity rather than their sex is obviously not the position held by the vast majority of Democrats.
Respecting trans folks as people and not crying like a baby whenever you see one of them walking down the street, THAT's more a Democrat thing.
PS I'm vaccinated, my wife has a job, climate change is real, Trump got his ass kicked in 2020, and I can both fix a car AND knit a sweater. You mad OP?

The problem is that the middle of the road dems are voting for all of these policies every time they keep voting dem- thus supporting these policies while claiming not to- being a big part of the problem and don't realize all the damage they're doing.
And I don't love the orange guy.
And this issue is personal, definitely not political for me, as someone very heavily invested and involved in women's sports.
Ever wonder how crazy ideas like trans sports seem to flourish so easily today, just like enragement about those ideas? Ever wonder if enragement = engagement, and that equals $$$$? Ever wonder why the smallest things about our past analog life were regulated (don’t park there!), but the social/online channels that have permeated all aspects of our society have next to zero regulation and are run by a handful of one-trick tech guys who care a whole lot about money (engagement!) and not so much about their larger impact on the world, let alone HS sports?

The Republicans could fix this by running a non-fascist for President. Since they won't do that, people who actually love this country have to keep voting for Democrats, since transwomen in sports is way down the list of what we should worry about.

Democratic leaders are really not doing a great job with all of the bigger issues higher up on your list of concerns either.
Things are a hot mess on every front in the US currently.
Being childishly spiteful because you hate the orange and voting for ridiculousness just to not vote for him and THAT party is hurting everyone and everything.
A lot of us don't. I'm a democrat and I don't think it's fair. (And I would definitely not call myself 'sane' lol)
But you vote for representatives who do.
I think it's fair to say that it was the Democrats that pushed for Title IX in the first place. Republicans thought sports were too masculine for girls and would make them all lesbians. Keep them in Home Ec where they belong. After all, that's what God intended.

In the vote in the House in 1972, 79% of Republicans voted “Aye” (in favor of it). In comparison, only 53% of Democrats voted “Aye.” And Nixon (R) was the President who signed Title IX into law.
How you conclude that it was Democrats that put Title IX into place is beyond me.

Patsy Mink, Edith Green and Birch Bayh were all Democrats.
