Anyone know how they got so far behind schedule? Wasn’t the 10k supposed to start 15 minutes ago?
Idk if I’m staying up for the rest of tonight’s races, gotta get the 6am run in. Why they so late?

Waskom made me really nervous. I’m sure he had an idea of the time but easing up when you are in 6th place is some kind of strategy.
I swear he’s taking it easy for the trials. Giving me those vibes.
They’re running so far behind that the coverage will probably end right as the 10K is supposed to finish..

Still daylight on the west coast. Bite it easterners!
Been working for me.
Jon Gault's post-race interviews are here:
You are complete idiot and have no idea what you are talking about. Rheinhardt Harrison received Epstein Barr Virus test results last night and they are >160. A normal reading is <43. If he were healthy, he would be running much faster and would not be hanging out at the back of the race. He is seeing an infectious disease doctor to figure out what is wrong with his immune system. Please don't post your negative comments if you don't know the facts!

Jerry, I'm surprised you have time for this banter right now.
Gotta love a guy (SamueL) who goes to the front in the first lap. Admittedly, I think ti's stupid. I'd wait at least 2k but Pre is smiling in heaven.
27:30 pace after 2 laps.
Protest table is busy. Current protests in both the shot and long jump.
Come on. Samuel and Cheriyot are Freshmen? they don’t look a day under 30!
tom brady getting a lot of attention
I thought Rheinardt ran a fine race. Running in dead last is a good way to save energy. If Khan had done that, he'd be in the final.
Rheinhardt was 7th at Pac 12s, he needed everything to go perfect to have any hope of the final. Going to last and hoping for a miraculous opening of the seas isn't a bad strategy.

if Nico Young or Ky Robinson were in the race I'd agree but I don't think anyone in the field can hang if he decides to squeeze the pace down. Wouldn't be surprised if he leads wire to wire. though in the prelims he dropped back to 10th to help a teammate so who knows. that's confidence.
No idea why Samuel is letting this go slow.

Shouldn't matter if he pushes the last mile and a half or so. He's still run 26:53 and there is no reason to do more wok than you need to with the 5k coming up in 2 days.
