My wife is running Boston on Monday and I showed her the pic of the women’s kit and said she should run the marathon in it. She just laughed. Said it would be more appropriate for Valentine’s Day than a running race.
We've imported millions of third world (primarily) men, so for those concerned about the patriarchy and female-objectification, things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. But I'm sure this was part of your calculation when you voted for and supported open border policies...
Look at how women are portrayed in South America... because it's coming to a tv station near you.
Also, men: when you are trying to find a wife, screen heavily for "crazy" - because they ultimately turn into nightmares.
To be fair, it's mainly the NIKE athletes who are cool with the kit.
And it's not just the kit (there will be several styles an athlete can choose from) but it is also Nike. A company with a long history of misogyny... i.e. elevating (naming a building after and supporting) sexual predator Alberto Salazar; contract reductions for pregnant athletes, etc.
Institutional support of doping: Salazar, Bowerman, Lance Armstrong
I have watched for awhile. This is the first time I have heard our athletes complaining so I thought they must be bad. Usually, it's old ladies asking them to cover up more who haven't had a date since WWII. And I am certainly no judge when it comes to what is right for women's athletics. I will say that when it's 80 degrees out and your running a 10k on the track I don't see a lot of takers for the long tights.

Nice thing though is that you can just pull it to the side to pee or cacca unlike the men’s shorts where cacca is trapped within an anal black hole from which even light can’t escape.
I agree for the most part that the women’s uniform should be fairly similar to the men’s uniform (eg tank and split shorts). Lauren Fleshman can suck a lemon though. hard to sympathize with someone who considers themselves oppressed having had a profoundly privileged life.

Nobody had a greater privilege than her ex-husband. He is living the life of George Costanza.

100% Fleshman seemed like the wealthy liberal type born on 3rd base.
Des is blue-collar liberal and may also correctly not like the patriarchy BUT she's more mature about it, and she grew up in a middle-class life. I have more respect for her!
Maybe all OG athletes should return to competing naked and oiled, to eliminate these boring uniform issues.
I bet viewership would skyrocket. Just consider what an effect the shirtless and oiled Polynesian guy has had on the opening ceremonies, chicks everywhere going crazy👍

I don't agree with Fleshman's take on the uniform since the women have multiple options, but enough with the false-takes on Fleshman. She's from a blue collar background as her dad was basically a carpenter. And she and Jesse never had a polyamorous relationship as far as anything that was stated publicly. Instead, they divorced and she later announced that she was gay. Seems like they have a good post-divorce relationship.
Anyone looking at the uniform on the mannequin can see that the cut at the legs is odd/high. AND then that brings in every single question now being asked. Why this cut? Is this realistic for performance? Why did Nike choose the "sexy" uniform for women and the clearly performance driven uniform for guys?
Anna Cockrell, a Nike athlete who wore some of the gear at the preview is having to go around now, in comments (on Fleshmans post for example) saying the uniform looks different on a human body, it's actually NOT the same! It's been changed! But..ok, so then why did Nike put out a half finished prototype as their *SHOW STOPPER* for the Olympic game preview!? That's weird too! It's weird and awkward that the athletes have to or feel like they have to defend this silly situation and uniform.
Nike. you look sloppy as hell here lol. You are a billion dollar companyand the primary sponsor for USATF. You should be freaking jonny on the spot with this lol.
Flesh man needs to cut out the Patriarchy nonsense. Clearly the high-cut speed suit is just one of many options for the women's uniform, just as I'm sure that there is a shorts option for the men -- probably a speed suit too. There is probably a shorts option for women and a brief...
I'm surprised Flesh man's argument isn't that there is precious little space in the women's uniform for a 12" penis, should someone with a 12" penis decide to suit-up as a woman. She'll say anything for attention.
Only Fleshman so she can everyone who doesn't follow T&F riled up against Nike. Woke railing against Woke. She herself wore bikini bottoms dating back to Stanford.
