After every regional, Jonathan Gault will be running Bo Waggoner's program to see who is in and out. He'll post the results on the live blog on the front page: https://www.letsrun.com/events...
Was it short? Some of you seem to think that it is. Is it the same course that was used for pre-Nats & the finals a few years back? If so, it isn't short.
I am assuming that the South regional starts so much earlier than the other regions is to try and beat the heat?
But to me, this course looked softer and more hilly that the FL St course. Yet everyone ran much faster.
Yeah, I had a brain fart. I asked if it was the same course as the NCAA meet was on a few years ago, in 2021. That was at Florida STATE. I was thinking that this meet was at FSU.
Lol. Another superfast, probably short southern course that people on here will overreact to. When you have three runners finish within 5 seconds running around 18 and everyone running much faster times than earlier results, it makes comparisons impossible.

It really doesn't matter. It's cross country. People pay too much attention to times. Everyone will be on the same course at Panorama Farms.

FSU’s Churchill would be a good gage. She’s trying to get an individual qualifier.
Allison Churchill has been improving y-o-y. Her PB is 15:33 from last Outdoors. She just ran a 15:21 equivalent. So IF the golf course is short (and a little slower than an oval track), then it is reasonable to suggest, after conversion, top women were running their potential track PB’s.

I don't get it. Projections for what? Projected finish for the NCAA finals?
Projections for the team qualifiers to nationals - based on the Kolas calculator website that LRC mentioned in their previews. It originally predicted the NCAA regional results based on regional rankings, but you can update this website with the actual Regional results to see how the team qualifiers change.

This is not rocket science. If a grass course , like SEC, is accurate in distance, the JD calculator equivalent 5k, on same course in same conditions, is very reasonable.
