If we’re going to go this route, actually 5 HU athletes have had a sexual relationships with Nick. If you don’t see the problem right there, then idk what to tell you.
First of all, why does AW even know about this text? Second of all, if such a text exists then this investigation would’ve been thrown out a long time ago. Clearly there’s more to the story.
Your last point is a poor argument because you imply there is a 100% truth and it is out there for people/law enforcement to obtain. Once again if this were the case then there wouldn’t be an ongoing investigation. What you do in this situation (and to be honest that fact that the university/Lauren allowed her to comment on this is insane) is sympathize with the victims, then you can state that you were never taken advantage of (which would still be a lie but whatever), and then you say that you hope the courts do their job and provide timely resolution. Boom, there’s my class in PR 101.
Nice strawman argument! OF COURSE Nick was a huge a$$hole to cheat on his wife with athletes he coached and all the rest of it! No worries on not knowing what to tell me.
The issue is how much are we going to pretend to know about a situation in which no one (save God) will ever know ALL the particulars and condemn AW for her part. You were absolutely right to say that I can't be 100% sure about what she read to “prove” Nick didn't rape the one bringing the case. At the same time, neither can you know that AW was wrong. Yet, you act 100% certain that AW totally was. Unless you're the one who’s alleging rape, how can you know for certain? Even if the odds were, say, 75% that AW (and her teammates who said the same) is wrong, that's enough for you to trash her publicly?
Conspiracy theory: AW furthers the drama to get much more publicity than she ever would get otherwise (even though she's a running prodigy). In time, when she's super successful in distance running, even non-runners will be aware of her due to the shady past. There will be team AW and her detractors, but as long as she doesn't test positive, the debate will continue whether she is a super woman or evil villain. The shoe companies dont care about morals, they're watching to see if an athlete can get others in their shoe. Needless to say, she will live rent free in all her competitor’s heads (it's already happening).
You kidding me?! Lol. Just 12 hours ago on this thread you gave a breakdown of what Addy must do in order to be deemed acceptable, nevermind that you don't know the details as well as her.
Yeah, HU can be criticized. They would be by many people no matter what they did. They were trying to thread the needle, mostly unsuccessfully, but we shall see, won't we? You think they're going to be so on top of it to keep Hines from running with the team on the day it broke out? Lol
As to your last conjecture on what the companies care about... Maybe or maybe not. Depends how things go. In a couple of years only dozens will remember and see it like you, but many will know who AW is for whatever reason.
We’ll see. I don't care one way or another, but I do get turned off by people who claim to know something as 100% true when they obviously do not know.
There is not much testing in the NAIA. EPO has about a week-2 week window to get caught. Testosterone can be micro dosed. He’s a disturbed individual who knows what he was doing
You seem to know alot about how one would dope and get away with it, so I am assuming you also would know how to get the drugs and how much they would cost. As well as the costs of monitoring all of the athletes to beat the system and not fail tests. For what you alledging to be true it would take some serious cash to dope an entire team for an entire season. The perscriptions you claim he had would be enough for one individual and be given to him in very monitored and measured perscriptions and likely paid for with insurance. There would be a record of how often they were refilled and there would be limitations on the frequency of filling them. Are you claiming the pharmacies that refilled his perscriptions are in on this alledged doping scheme and somehow gave him way more than they should have? This would be beyond the means of the coaches salary to pay for our of pocket, and the athletes alledge they were doped against their will so they didn't pay for it. So who funded this operation? If any of this were true (it is not) there would be a trail of money and suppliers and the person who bankrolled the alledged scheme. The economics of the whole thing do not add up. All of the doping claims against the coaches and runners of the Huntington program are easily proven false.
You make some incredible points. And yet, the poster before you says their runners were jacked. Really? So how does that happen? With what drugs? Prescription drugs? Where are they coming from? There are many questions that should be addressed, and these questions may go back to the origins of how Nick (and Lauren?) from little HU learned the ins and outs of the alleged doping.
I guess it is semantics. Prodigy means someone talented or exception, but tends to be used to mean something stronger. Those times are fine but they were in line with what other national caliber high school runners do every year. That is particularly true because she was old for her grade, and is the same age now as athletes starting their college junior year. The only eye opening time she ran in high school was that Lauren paced 1600m that was a harbinger of the farce to come. And spare me the lecture about being mean to a young adult. Doping is not merely cheating, it's thievery.
Anyway, good to see this story breaking out despite the cultish DOS attacks on this website. Guess what? No one fell for it.

Touhy birthdate 3/18/2002 age 21 will be a college senior
Wiley birthdate 10/24/2003 age 19 will be a college soph
There's nothing here on age. There's enough fun to have with sex and drugs, so you don't have to incorrectly drag age into it.
I noticed last year there was about a one month difference in age with Barnett. But fair enough. Did not bother to look it up again. Anyway the times were comparable to what other good high school runners have run. Nothing more or less.
