See if she can go longer.
She lacks speed for the shorter races at this stage
We have merged two threads into 1 as we like to have 1 thread per topic. We don't need a thread on how she's running the 10,000 and then another on how she did. Here is a video of her on the final lap:

Maatoug, Seeland, Tyynismaa, Hartman big pr, Shaw, Parks, Appleton all thru to acc w1500 final.
I wonder if she will get Lisa Uhl's 31:18 Collegiate Record? She wont have to run that fast to win Conference, but breaking NCAA Records is what she does, so it will be interesting to see if she goes for it tonight.

Tuffy posted she was going to pace her teammates so I doubt she could get it tonight if that is the case.
Gary Martin just won his 1500m heat in the prelims.
I seriously doubt that she would make any type of big effort so close after Soundrunning race, but I have been wrong before.

Flashresults has the splits up for the race enroute thus far:
Looks like they’re going to clip along in the 1:21-1:22 range per 400.

Looks like a goal of 33:00 ? They’re on about 33:08 pace early on.
I think someone predicted exactly 33:08. That sounds familiar. 5:20 per mile.
She is just chillin in second

Carolien MILLENAAR is going way beyond her 34:20 PR in the early stages leading the race at the mile.

Yes, we found the sacrificial lamb. Cuse content to sit behind the wolfpack.
I feel your pain! Lol

All she needs is an 11:00 final 4K. That's only 13:45 pace for 5K.
20:18 at 6k, Millenaar still doing the work. State and cuse intermingled in lead pack.

They slowed down to 1:22’s each lap for a mile and then Vestri just DROPPED the hammer down with a high 1:18 and Tuohy went with her.

NC State’s Quarzo is still hanging with the two of them.

Just the three of them with a 7 second gap back to the chase pack.

They just keep ratcheting it down. 1:16-1:17 per lap now…
8k Touhy leading now. Cause and pack now have top6.
