[Herron's] also impressed with the brand’s efforts to produce high-quality running shoes, even if shoes appropriate for very long days on the road, track or trail remain a work in progress. “Me being a science person, I can offer a lot of feedback on developing their shoes,” Herron says. “It’s such a great opportunity to collaborate. We’ve had lots of meetings–I’ve been to the company headquarters in Vancouver and met the shoe people; all the products are incredible, and I’m excited to bring them to the ultratrail community.”
Meh - I think Lululemon clothing is overrated and overpriced. Don't know anything about their shoes, and no mention of shoes in the announcement?

Welp, at least she gets the clothing for free. Maybe they're paying her more than, say, Hoka or Nike would have. Maybe not. It does come across as compromised when it's a company with zero shoes she can wear for her sport. From the way she talks around it in the above quote, it sounds like Lululemon shoes for ultras are still a long shot at this point. Whatever the case, she's having to acquire her own shoes for the foreseeable future. Maybe Killian is comping her Nnormal kicks.

Maybe she can wear the shoes she wants. That might be a huge advantage. But I wouldn't want to be mentioned in the same sentence as Mirna V.
Even though the shoes are blocked out and there's been no announcement of any type.
Interesting about the other quotes you provided in the thread.
As to the shoes being blocked out: if you looked carefully at some of her more recent IG posts, the shoes weren't always blocked out, and you could read what looked like the Nnormal logo on the side.
I mean, it seems like a pretty sweet gig considering she probably doesn't have to run in their shoes...just help "develop" them. I imagine once they actually come out with a shoe (that will probably suck), she'll jump ship to a different brand, but that could be years down the road.
Still kinda funny to think of her and Quigley as the big running faces of Lululemon - couldn't be more different...
Finally I can share all the things I love about @lululemon ! The cut of their bras (Energy line = no chafing 🙌!) and their socks are what sold me on the brand 👙🧦. Dry feet & happy toes 🦶. Also love all the pockets on tights and lots of bright colors 🦄. More to come 🪄✨✨! https://t.co/rrvIPUKpQ1
Herron’s excited about Lululemon’s running clothing: “We’ve been having fun mixing and matching that top [the Invigorate Training Tank] with shorts. I really like old-school split shorts, and Lululemon has that. I imagine myself being a unicorn or a superhero, mixing and matching Wonder-Woman-type colours. We’re bringing back colour to the sport!”
