Lindell is a tremendous success story..Rose from nothing to become a millionaire and is also a great human being...More successful than anyone on this board...
The pump and dump makes more sense. Potential jail time and freezing of assets. He probably had plenty of money and maybe a nice insurance policy for his family.
Still a sad story.
Still crazy to think that all he got out of it before jumping was to sell 42K shares for just a million dollars at a modestly inflated price than fair market value, so it’s not even like he made a lot relative to his probable net worth given he still had over $6M worth in BBB stock alone. Also the class action lawsuit seems like a civil suit, but maybe there was more behind the scenes.
So I just saw a CNBC piece and from that it seems like his $1M sale of shares in August was scheduled long back and expected, and it would’ve been strange anyway for a C-level exec with three decades of industry experience to opportunistically circumvent standard procedure on insider stock sales, so it seems like there was more going on about which we don’t know yet.
Based on the public information as of now, it doesn’t seem like he profited at all from the pump and dump, the civil class action lawsuit notwithstanding.
