Malleck can't run distance. Heard he is a mental midget who can't run anything longer than a mile before having a mental breakdown. Mason is good but only cares about being the best on his team, doesn't care about his place in the patriot league.
The only 'Patriot' that will be winning this weekend is the Rule of Law. The fact that the January 6th Commission, or as I like to call it, "Pelosi's Cronies," are allowed to indict President Trump for a crime he didn't commit is the most unpatriotic, un-American sham to ever exist. I'm not sure how you can call yourself American if you are too focused on a cross country race to recognize that Schmoe Biden is incompetent to hold office.
It’s wild that we have not heard anything about the Lehigh runners who were seen storming the capital on January 6th. Nothing speaks more to the name of the league than of those individuals. It’s clear to see the cronies we have at the helm.
No, no he's got a point. Lehigh always has high hopes then crashes and burns. Can you call it a rebuilding year if you have 5-6 seniors in your top 7? If DePaul didn't leave Lafayette might have beat them again. Navy's meet to lose, like Bucknell on their home course to overcome American. And then just threw the last 4 in a random number generator and picked according

1. Navy
2.Boston
3. Army
4. Bucknell
5. American
6. Lehigh
7. Loyola
8. Lafayette
9. Holy Cross
10. Colgate
Before the 2021 season started, Lehigh thought they were going to be able to win the championship. That was their all-star team on their home course - though they never would have been able to beat Navy.
Melko - 14:15 5k, 2nd outdoors
Slavin (5th year) - 24:24 8k
DeMassa (5th year) - 24:25 8k
Wilson - 14:47 5k from 2021, French ran 25:00 (and 24:27 in 2022 proving he has ability), Lederer - 5th in PLC steeple in 2022. They had the talent to contend with Army but they didn't have the guts to even beat Lafayette.

Lmao @ anyone who thinks Foster is a mental midget. Foster deals with a lot and always finds a way to pull through. People forget he was 4th at the March XC Champs. He will be top 5 and then will dominate in indoor and outdoor.

I think you are forgetting that course was on road, Malleck historically has not run well on grass. He will still dominate indoor and outdoor PLs, that guy is a monster in the 1500/mile.
If anyone is looking to tailgate before the big rendezvous tomorrow, I will be milking cows on a farm with the 14 other knuckle-draggers who reside in the greater Lewisburg area. For any Bucknell supporters, I recommend a rather intense tailgate session because you're gonna have to be drunk to enjoy the insipid product that Donner's gonna slap out there tomorrow.
Boston women were a massive disappointment. Their women should have won EASILY. They have a 7th year senior (9:35 3k, 10:27 steeplechase), a 6th year senior (16:32), and two 5th year seniors (17:16 5k for one, 10:22 steeplechase for the other), Daisy is a junior transfer (16:01 5k), and a stacked recruiting class of internationals including a 21 year old freshman from Sweden who has PBs of 9:37 3k and 4:29 1500.
- Biggest surprise? Emily B of Navy for the win. She is good but didn't expect her to take the "W" over Daisy L of BU.
- Biggest disappointment? BU men and women. Came in ranked #2 (wins over Army at Paul Short), however based on who they returned from last year, many picked to win both sides before the season began.
- Most devastated? BU coaching staff. First time in four years they didn't place 1st or 2nd as a team.
I say again. BU men are annually overrated. Not surprised by men’s results whatsoever. Even placing. Navy has multiple ballers and Army has one. It is not hard to be top 10 at patriot league.
Totally shocked that Navy women the women’s team & individual title and Boston women didn’t mop the floor with everyone.
Keep in mind its also the two schools with unlimited scholarships keep going 1-2. Army has a huge budget and Navy will get talent and throw enough against the wall and see who sticks even with under armor spikes. Boston used to be a player in xc and on the track- they need to figure it out and Gabe should stop scaring away coaches.
Next question- will anyone qualify for NCAAs? Given how liljgren ran it’s unlikely any women will make it. Navy men? Unlikely. Most likely a shock performance from a navy male like clark, keeny, or army’s gough could have a shot. That’s unfortunately it.
Now that the dust has settled time for a patriots recap:
Men:
1. Navy with the win as was expected, although not as dominant as a performance as they may have wanted and could not grab the individual title for a second year in a row.
2. Army- Another loss to their long time rival, rumor has it their gear issue team is working on taking off “beat navy” of the back of their shirts as they set their aspirations on lower goals. Managed to hold off Boston as they were too jealous of their haircuts to run behind them. Props to Gough for the individual title
3. Boston- Boston showed off their ability to run fast 5k times in meets that no one cares about as they clearly got confused and though the race was a 5k and fell apart as the race went on. With their roster they should have been able to beat army at a minimum, definitely a disappointment
4. Bucknell- After designing the dumbest course in existence Donner can now retire with his crowning achievement under his belt: 4th place in the patriot league, while having nearly double the points of the next best team
5. American- great job to the new distance coach at American with a huge improvement taking a completely horrible team that took 8th last year and turning them into a team that is just bad now
6. Lehigh- probably disappointed with a close 6th place finish behind 4/5 but at least they beat Lafayette
7-10 suck who cares?
10 toothpaste university is BAD!!
That wraps up another year of patriot league cross country, time to get ready for regionals, will next year be the year that American reclaims their early 2000s dominance, will we all make predictions for months on here just to have the exact same top 3 result like this year, or will we realize that half of this Mickey Mouse conference is really not good enough to be called Division 1?
I say again. BU men are annually overrated. Not surprised by men’s results whatsoever. Even placing. Navy has multiple ballers and Army has one. It is not hard to be top 10 at patriot league.
If Boston had a decent coach, Boston would DOMINATE. They are by far the most talented team in the league but also may be the worst coached.
Mason ran 8:32 for 3k in high school, which equals 9:10 and has run 14:14. Malleck was Pan Am U20 champion and ran 3:47 1500, 4:07 mile, 1:52, and 8:11 3k in high school (equivalent to 8:47 in 3200).
Laudon is a 5th year senior who ran 9:12 in high school and 4:17 full mile
Murphy ran 4:19 and 9:25, has a 14:12 PR.
Aubry was the canadian u18 national record holder in the 1000m and is now a 5th year senior.
Hannon has run 14:26. Hammel ran 4:22 and 9:20 as a junior and lost senior year of HS to COVID. He has run 14:19. That's not even mentioning their current freshmen who are maybe even more talented.
