Wondering what sort of times Williams college would recruit. I’m a junior and ran 4:20, 1:55 last season, would that qualify for some heavy admission help. Academically I’m strong and take the hardest classes available and I’m ranked in the top 10% of my school. Also SAT is kinda mid with a 12xx yes I emailed the coaches already just want let’s runs opinion.
Thanks!
Your running times seem like they would be a good fit to develop in D-3. I was a 4:24 high school 1600m runner and ran 4:04 in college in a smaller division. However, Williams is incredibly selective at 12.6%. I looked at Bowdoin College when I was in high school and even with a 3.98 GPA and decent scores, I was told if I am 100% certain I will attend the coach could get me in, but I needed to provide a firm yes before they would execute the waivers needed to get beyond the selectivity of acceptance. D-3 does not have scholarship, but they do have academic waivers. If you are firm, I would find out if the coach can first get you in.
It is a great school and all the best to you!
