Franklin top 5- 16:04 16:20 (ran a 15:51 last year) 16:51 16:56 (ran a 16:16 last year) 16:58 Apparently they have a guy who ran a 16:16 last year who ran a 18:27 in this meet.
Eastwood top 5 16:31 - Flores - 9:57 in track 17:02 (ran a 9:57 in track) - Marshall 17:24 (ran a 16:12 last year) - 9:58 in 3200 - Casillas 17:32 (ran a 17:18 last year) - Espino 17:49 (ran a 16:10 last year) - 4:37 in 1600 - Chavez Don’t forget that Eastwood also has Beckett who ran a 15:53 last year.
Eastwood could actually have a really good top 5(not necessarily in this order) if they all run at the peak of their ability: 16:31 / 9:57 - Flores 15:53 - Beckett 16:10 - Chavez 16:12 / 9:58 - Casillas 9:57 - Marshall
Individually kevin sanchez will 100% win if he is healthy but as a team its between vandergrift and grapevine they are both insane
I thought Grapevine was in 5A?
Even there they will have a challenge to win. Lucas Lovejoy is looking good too.
Another thing is, even in 2023 it will be a battle between Grapevine and Lucas Lovejoy in 5A. Lucas Lovejoy will return everyone and Grapevine will only lose Rayon.

Vandegrift had a solid top 3 at their first meet: Sanchez - 8:53 3k Schieffelin - 9:03 3k Haley - 9:29 3k Their 4/5 went 9:56 and 9:59. But they were missing one guy with a 16:21 5k pr (Rayson) and another guy with a 10:00 3200/16:55 5K PR (Schick). Neither are entered in the Friday Night Lights race.
