Braden King was about 50 seconds slower than Sahlman, so quick math suggests a sub 14:00 5k may be on the table.

That would have put him 20th last year
Given that he ran 15:15 at California State (49s slower than Colin). Will we see a sub 14 today?
I wouldn’t count it out but sub 14 is quite fast. My prediction is 14:15, and 14:08 at best.
King ran 25s faster than CIF, IF NP can do that, they have a 14:15 average
Is the stream kinda bad for anyone else? Cuts out every so often?
4th place guy in the Silver race, Elliot Macarthur, ran a 14:56. His previous PR was 15:40.
Can't wait to see if the NP guys can likewise demolish some times.

Silver race: 6 guys under 15 min., 146 under 16 min.
Vs 1 guy who went sub 16 in silver race last year (not even talking about the 53 guys who went sub 16 in the bronze race earlier)
Will we see 100 sub 15 guys in the gold race?
yes really unfotunate
What are the top 10 fastest HS XC times ever (5000m)?

We may see 9 of the top 10 times ever today
All the people who signed up for this meet are 100% gullible. This meet is seriously stupid. Milesplit is also freaking stupid, from Cory Mull on down.
You will all look back in 10 years and be like, "Why did I waste XMAS money on the short course at Running Lane?"
And then for the others who measure these times against Ritz's 14:10 -- are you insane?
These kids are good but they arent Ritz. Even if they run close times they still arent comparable to Ritz. Ritz was a prodigy. NP is a manufactured super team that traveled to Bama. Big difference.
This guy sucks

FALSE. The Bama course is trash just like the promoters.

We already saw 47 more guys run sub 16 today than last year and the gold race has not even started yet.

I’m sure you can find a list with a quick search but I believe the top 3 all time are
Dathan ritzenheim - 14:10 - Michigan state meet
Leo daschbach - 14:14? - Desert twilight
Cole sprout - 14:17? - Desert twilight
