The men's DMR was a big shocker to me.
I didn't think Benedictine would even get out of the prelim, they ended up winning the prelim and going sub 10. Pretty similarly to Huntington's women, they only have one runner running an open event from that relay (Manella in the 1k) so they should be really fresh for the final in comparison to some of these other teams that made it.
St. Mary not making it was a pretty big surprise to me, especially after handing off in first after the 800 leg. Perez is a 4:12 miler and 2:25 1k runner so I thought that him finishing would be a guaranteed finals spot.
Even after a 4x8 leg, Silva was clearly the class of the field in the 1600 leg and probably makes OKC the favorite to win the final since he won't be running anything else that day, unless Smithart and Robeaux are completely fatigued. Goshen looked pretty solid in everything except for the 800 leg.
