I am not sure what's going on there, but if I were you. I would throw my name in the hat unless you are happy where you're at. It's a D3 Director Position but the area is not too bad
Amherst has taken a leadership role among highly selective liberal arts colleges and universities in successfully diversifying the racial, socio-economic, and geographic profile of its student body. The College is similarly c...
Maybe Haveman is looking for a way out? She has to know that distance doesn’t fit into the team Petros wants to build. Since she had the mile champ indoors, her stock has to be as high as it will get. Would be a perfect time for her to find another gig
Yes they are but I heard Petros was asking for recommendations during ncaa. Distance maybe?
Wow. Distance team did really good this year. What more does that guy wants?
He wants his own "person" that the Administration didn't "ask/tell" him to keep for "continuity" during the transition to a new staff.
Sometimes, the AD will ask a new HC to keep the Cross/Distance Coach on for at least a year so that the first season that is up, Cross, isn't so bumpy. After a year, the HC can keep if them if they are a good fit, or dump em'.
Doesn't matter the success. A coach that remains(holdover) on staff wasn't the HC's hire, so there can always be questions about loyalty. Petros has been on staffs before that had a "holdover" coach absolutely poison the athletes against all the other coaches and destroy the team culture. Maybe he wants to avoid that.

Was Haveman at the NCAA meet? I have heard a couple of things, one that she is engaged to the distance coach from Missouri. Maybe she is just getting out.

It looks like Rollie is handing her the keys. He has had a phenomenal career but still wants to be connected to the program and be a mentor. This is a great thing for NC State.
WSU finally going to make a change? SO BADLY NEEDED....
This is clearly not happening. They would have already done it and also their athletic department is in a giant financial hole. So this won't be happening this summer.
THIS IS A TRUE MESSAGE. Trust, communication and Loyalty is security for anyone that’s not the head coach. Directors have multi year contracts while everyone else signs year to year. Besides if you don’t believe in your boss or even like talking or answering to them or their requests then why are you there? It’s unreasonable to think you should remain under that program longer than a year.
