I’m talking about the people who said “NEVER GONNA HAPPEN”
Stay focused. You can do this.
Why are you quoting me? Have I said this?
I know you’re a little frazzled about the info you found when you were looking for something other than your debunked pics to prove we went the moon. Stay calm. It will be okay.
I assumed all the deniers in this thread were same person. Just like 90% of anonymous users on this site are Jamin LOL.
Either why don’t you take a position, let’s discuss the future. Do you think we can go to moon (again)? Do you think we will? When do you think it will happen?
The answers to these questions help me understand your beliefs more. It’s hard to keep track of them with all the randomness in this thread.
Also I’m very interested in more positive evidence we didn’t go to the moon - that things were fake, etc. Not just implied suspicious of bits of supporting data for the moon journey. In my view there are so much supporting data that I don’t see myself ever becoming a denier unless there were significant evidence that fabrication happened, not just doubt the other way around.

Absence of evidence that something happened is evidence that it didn’t happen.
And if you disagree, then I’d like you to provide evidence that I’m not currently posting from the back of an elephant.

Besides what you have been told (and loosely listened to but blindly followed [see also: you believing that GigaMoon image actually photographed the landing sites two pages ago]) you have no evidence we went to the moon.
I used to be like you. I grew up being told the same stories. I used to watch the Shuttle launches and the thought how cool it must have been people watching the Apollo rockets go up from their rooftops. After 30 some years of believing, I decided it no longer made sense that we regressed so far in technology that there are now endless excuses why we can't go back. Evidence of the missions are disappearing over time. NASA has had a half century to clean up their mistakes and more mistakes are still being uncovered and cleaned up. It's sad. I really did believe and I am sad that it's all fake.
Elon Musk said he'd get us to Mars in 10 years 11 years ago. We still are no closer. No, I don't consider massive emissions from years of rocket engine testing and blasting rockets to ISS getting us closer to Mars.
Japan just lost their rover they attempted to land on the moon. They couldn't do it in 2023 what we did in 1969 with Hertz of computing power and no hard drives/storage.
It's sad. It's sad that you continue to believe. There is nothing out there that will be habited besides earth. Ever. Let's stop destroying it.

Just one more thing you can add to the list of things you are wrong about. 😂
You are welcome to start another thread on future missions. Let’s stick to the topic of this thread.

As heard in Captain Marvel. "Man On The Moon" from R.E.M.'s 1992 album Automatic For The People.Discover more R.E.M. via Apple Essentials (https://found.ee/r...
Amazing how many people have kept a secret for over 50 years. All the astronauts in the 9 Apollo missions that either landed on or orbited the moon, thousands of employees at Houston and Kennedy Space Centers, the thousands upon thousands of engineers at North American Aviation, Grumman, and the other companies that built the Apollo space craft, several hundred thousand people in all, and they've all kept the big secret safe all these years. Um ok.
Look, there is evidence today. The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has taken clear photos of the Apollo landing sites. Japan's SELENE orbiter also has photo evidence.
There is no actual evidence of a hoax. And yes, you do need to provide real evidence of a hoax to show the Apollo missions didn't happen.

LOLz!!! Pull up those CGI images & cartoons for us.

Already addressed. The factory workers making the fake bits and bobs that went on the landers did not know the landing was faked. They worked, retired, and died thinking they were part of something special. There were only a select few that were in on the plan, and dead men tell no tales.
Coming out as a denier has an incredibly chilling effect on your prospects in the education field as a scientist, but there are significantly more of us than you think.

Yeah, for sure. There's at least one on this thread.

The thousands of people who built the landers weren't joe schmoes, they were engineers themselves. Every part was designed to fulfill a specific function in a specific environment and was tested ahead of time by engineers to make sure it worked. Since, if what you say is true, those engineers did not know that the landing was a hoax, I imagine they would have been quite careful to make sure that the equipment they designed worked as intended - i.e. would have been capable of landing a human on the moon. They thought that the astronauts' lives were in their hands, right? Not to mention that their jobs were on the line. So these engineers spent millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of hours building and testing rocket engines and air recycling systems and cooling systems and vacuum-safe shock absorbers that did exactly what they were supposed to, and then they assembled everything and tested everything and... then what? At that point, most of the work was already done. The rocket and lander were assembled and tested and ready to rock. Why not launch the mission?

I think it might have been because they were afraid of falling off the edge of the Earth.

The gals & guys on assembly line are/were no different than gals & guys on assembly line at weapons manufactures then, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s ... 2020s. Do not pretend the gals & guys building aircraft carriers, bombers, submarines, tanks then are different than the gals & guys today. You are wrong to assume everyone was an engineer.
We can go back and forth regarding finer points. No way would U.S. go from flying spy satellites in space up to 300 miles to 238,000 or 239,000 with three men. Did not happen.

Mass-produced objects are made on an assembly line, but the equipment used in the lunar missions was not mass-produced. Every part was specially designed and rigorously tested. Were there joe schmoes involved in some steps? Sure, someone had to turn the widgets and pour the coffee. But that does not change the fact that each team responsible for each part would have done their utmost to make sure that they produced parts that worked as expected because they did not know the landing was going to be faked

Positive evidence we didn’t go to the moon?
Are you a moron?
That it was faked! Just read more than one sentence :)
Youre excellent at choosing one think in a discussion to laser in on … it’s a good debate tactic but shows you simply cannot engage with a real theory. I’ve seen it time and time again.
Also lol at the ISS being fake too. That one can you take a photo of with a $1500 telescope.

Basic orbital dynamics strikes again. Comparing two numbers is meaningless given the energy difference between the orbits is well within the range of human endeavor. It’s not like it takes 1000X more energy to get to the moon than to LEO.
