bump (for Tim Culpepper)
Wed., yesterday, no run.
Today, shouldn't have tried to. All of 9 1/2 min., tweaked hip flexor. Slipped on icy steps day before & strained hip flexor while stopping myself from plumeting down head first. A drag!.
Probably no running for a few days, hopefully :(
This is a bump for Tim Culpepper. He's been posting on other threads and I thought this would be a good place for him to post his daily training. If you guys run into him on another thread, help point him here please. Thanks a lot!
Why the hell would we want to hear about Tim Culpepper? Alan Culpepper yes, Tim no. The guy isn't even an American runner.
The issue is not whether or not he is American. The guy may have something to offer here. I hope he posts his training so we can see what a pro does on a daily basis. That would be neat.
Kids athletics, one hour.
Two other coaches down sick so i had forty kids.
Nightmare but surveived. All managed to throw, run, jump.
A herd of wild bison would have been easir to manage.

Dude, the guy who comes on here as Tim Culpepper uses the name because that is the answer to bumping old threads. And if this is the guy you want to post his training, I don't want to hear how a country music figures into training.
Okay .... I'm sure you're a troll but give it a rest.
... wow good tunes ....

That is the past 5ish weeks of running, mostly at 6:00-6:40 pace. It is a lot more running then I am used to but I do feel stronger then when I was doing 3-4 hard workouts a week but only 30-40 miles a week, with 3 days off. I have only taken 2 days off so far this year so I am very tired but this training will pay off I am sure of it. Today will be easy as I had a hard hill workout of 8X200m 12% slope yesterday for the second run. Just got new shoes too so that should be good.
