So at the meeting on Dec 18th Giuliani Flynn and Powell were pushing Donald to have the military seize voting machines. (Can we lock them up now?) Cipollone and 'team normal' was pushing Donald to concede because he LOST the election and there was no evidence of fraud. The meeting featured lots of yelling. On Dec 19th at 1:42am Donald went with another option, sending a tweet about Jan 6 with the infamous ending 'be there, will be wild'. And they did and it was.
This is the first time we have heard about Trump talking to Bannon that morning, right before going on the show. The implication is, Trump told Bannon about the attack on the Capitol planned for the next day.
Didn't Trump call Bannon "Stinky Steve"? I find it hard to believe that on the eve of something this profound and world-changing that Trump would be wasting his time talking to someone he thinks smells.
The call logs are there. Trump spoke to Bannon twice on the phone on January 5th.
So you are saying that when Trump told the crowd to march to the Capitol, he really meant to say "Supreme Court"? Is that what you think because you didn't actually watch the hearing?
We now know from multiple documents and testimony that Trump was planning all along to illegally send the crowd to the Capitol. Yes, there was also a rally planned for SCOTUS, but Trump and his allies were targeting the Capitol.
Trump drafted more explicit tweet on Dec 19th, but went with 'be there, will be wild' for that tweet. It was Trump's plan. Who were his co-conspirators?
So you don't think taped testimony from the former White House Counsel, who was in Trump's inner circle, was meaningful? This was the same guy who defended Trump in his second impeachment.
What testimony?
He is referring to yesterday's testimony from Pat Cipollone, Trump's White House Counsel. Cipollone defended Trump in his second impeachment. For the first impeachment, this is a guy who "signed an eight-page letter to Democratic House leaders stating that the White House would not cooperate in any way with the inquiry."
But I'm guessing you consider Cipollone to be a RINO.
If you watched the hearings you would realize that the witnesses giving damning testimony are some of Trump's most trusted and important advisors.
Agip would rather the discussion here be civil. No name calling. No expletives. Just fun discourse and a good attitude required by everyone. You can disagree but do so with a smile.
You are a moron. That is the right attitude that all of us should have.
Trump's statement that he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th avenue and not lose any voters is true. To his people he could never do anything wrong.

You are probably right.
It's true that Gary, Sally, and Carmine are severely brainwashed. They are afraid to even watch the hearings and face the truth. So they go to their safe spaces where they can consume versions of the hearings that are spun and sanitized for the brainwashed cult members.
I've been trying to get them to watch the hearings and judge for themselves if the witnesses are credible. But they are too afraid.

Gary, Sally, and Carmine are part of small team of trolls who post on LRC under a lot of different names, most of them unregistered.

Morons, all of them. They are all fighting over the crown for King Moron.
Was there any meaningful testimony today, or just the word of a handful of yokels trying to get reductions in their sentences by supporting the Democrats narrative?

What I find more meaningful is 9.1%. Can congress spend time trying to affect that number instead of focusing on one protest that took place 18 months ago? All this hearing is is a tax payer funded political smear campaign.
Anyone paying attention will know that Jan 6 was a coup attempt by Trump and his terrorist paramilitary buddies. The 'protest' by gullible people who believed what Fox and Friends told them, was just cover.

Much like Republicans distancing themselves from GWB after the lies about wmd became exposed to all, now is the time for Republicans to distance from trump. Turn off fox. Get some sunshine. Go read foreign news takes on all this. Cleanse your brain with the light of reality.

Takes more than three armed men to overthrow a government when there are about 25,000 police, soldiers, FBI, CIA, etc. in the general vicinity. These guys had an inflated sense of self-worth and you are feeding that misconception. These fringe "militias" are about as meaningful as pinky and the brain.
It was an attempted coup. Intimidate Pence into throwing the election back to congress. It should have failed even if it got that far, because it would be unconstitutional. But look at the Supreme Court -- who knows what the lying Supreme Court justices would have done.

Incoming or outgoing? It matters, because if Bannon called Trump, maybe Trump just took the chance opportunity to call Bannon names. So it may technically look on paper like they were having a substantive conversation, but Trump was actually just throwing names at Bannon the whole time. "Fatso! Skunkmiser! Looooooser! Fishface!" like that.
