can't believe i side with Ironman on this one.

She then obviously gets timed out on the swim, but claims she was within the cut off by a few seconds. Video footage shows her in some amount of distress leaving the water so that + being right on the cut off is an obvious DQ. She's now taken aim at Ironman, with her supporters backing her up.
The swim portion of a 70.3 is by far the least demanding of the three events. You don't have any business out there if you can't comfortably complete the swim.
He should do more videos like this. The first-person downhill racing footage — and his footwork on unstable terrain — are legitimately impressive.
Made the mistake of listening to Seth run down the mountain with my eyes closed.
Seth's videos are getting back to the quality of his best content of 2019-2021. Since he doesn't do shoe reviews anymore, can he still be called a "Shoetuber"?
Noted! I will do my best not to mention HR OR Illness in my next race! I can’t be having a load of people getting pissed on my behalf haha
Nearly every shoe got a 7.2 to 7.8 score anyway. The reviews didn't matter at all. All shoes were competent with some models being slightly more competent. It just took 15-20 minutes of ADHD rambling to get there.

Absolute rot. This entirely discounts Seth’s durometer testing which took shoetubing into a new, unmatched scientific realm…
Update: The Ironman swim-cutoff incident has now been fully mined … for content:

a little impressed he got 7th. He's fit and should be peaking by pikes peak his absolute favorite race of all-time.
Garth has been posting more props to DGR. Seth’s legacy is safe with this level influencer having his back! No shoe reviews necessary.

Is this really you Andy?

On Seth's old thread on here I frequently requested that he cut the daily uploads and focus on infrequent race videos, as he is excellent at producing those. I'm pleasantly surprised that he has gone down this path as the quality has gone up markedly, really interesting to see great race footage near the front of these races.
Yes buddy 👊
"I peed a little bit."
At least Andy is brave enough to step into letsrun forums to see some different opinions other than the overly positive ones on his channel. (love you, Andy!)
Also, somebody please tell Nick Bester to first run sub 14:30 for the 5K if he ever wants to have a chance for sub 2:20. It's not because everything has to click on race day, it's just that you're NOT in sub 2:20 shape.

if you think mentioning a February illness is the most glaring issue with your channel & training, then you might want to spend a little more time reading back through this thread Andy. You've slowly nuked your own channel
First of all, big respect for saying it how it is… that’s why I like this forum, just black and white…
I’ve been reading this for well over a year now, back when Seth was being hung drawn and quartered every day on his videos… my attention was drawn to this thread ages ago and I’ve been reading it all… and I’ll say 2 things:
1) everyone’s entitled to an option and although I don’t agree with everyone’s opinion, I don’t “dislike” or “hate” those people for having them. There are thousands of better runners out there than me who I have the upmost respect for. But for the people who just slag people off for the sake of it? Not interested…
2) training style - it’s always up for debate right? And I’ve done plenty of styles over the years… as someone who runs around 50/60 miles a week, I don’t have all the time in the world to train like a pro… I wake up, try and squeeze a run in before the school run, work, edit videos, try and have some family then then bed - repeat…. Videos are a hobby, not my life.
I’ve been told I need a coach, but I’ve seen comments that my coach had me running too hard… I’ve been told not to double threshold because my mileage is too low for it to be worth while, I’ve been told to stop running fast, I’ve been told my long runs are too long… and yet in 10 years I’ve taken my times right down… so who’s right and who’s wrong? It’s all opinions at the end of the day, right?
im always super respectful and will continue to be, I’m happy to be talked sh*t about but hands down, I genuinely enjoy this message board so I’m more than happy to answer proper questions or get involved if needs be, it’s all good fun at the end of the day….
as for my channel? I’m not really worried, I’ve been doing it for 10 years when sage and Ethan were top dogs… it’s a slow burner but I’m a stubborn ox who will keep putting videos out every damn week because, I enjoy it. We were all born the same way, we will all die the same way so why not have fun in the process? The London series lost me some creditably because I clearly pushed too hard through something I shouldn’t of done and rushed back… lessons learned there and I put my hands up to that, that’ll be the last time that happens for the sake of a marathon. But otherwise, I appreciate the support on the videos.
Anything constructive - fire it at me and I’ll do my best to answer
