Trent Williams is the best tackle in the NFL yes if he's not there it will matter. Common sense. Deebo makes a huge difference once again simply common sense. No we can't play like we can wthout those guys.
TD/INT ratio is huge as is that passer rating. Wilson 16-4 and 101.7, Who has it better after 8 weeks?
He had 16 TD passes all of last season, had a weak 84 passer rating, had a weak 60 comp %,. Real easy to see that isn't the case at all this season. All his stats are among the best in the NFL after 8 weeks.

I really don't think people get just how great his Seattle years were. When we look at comp%, yards, TD/INT rushing yards, passer rating and wins there is nobody who did all that better than Russell Wilson. Nobody won more games and he never had that great WR or TE.
Nine years a pro bowler, first QB to have 100 passer ratngs his first two seasons and by his third season already two Superbowls. Tied the rookie TD record. And he never sat on a bench he walked right in and took over.
Give a point for seasons with 65% over 4000 yards, over 400 rushing yards, 30 or more TDs less than 10 INTs,100 or better passer rating and wins. It's all Russell Wilson, nobody really that close, am talking that first decade of the career. Go ahead try to find somebody who did it better.
Not sure what last season was about, obviously something was wrong. This season those numbers back where they should be.
Wilson is a member of the 5000 yards rushing club, a member of the over 42.000 yards passing club. a member of the 300 TD club, nobody else can say that. He is without question the best dual threat QB.
If you follow the game seriously you know just how great this guy is.

The defense gave him FIVE turnovers and the Russell led offense scored right at the league average. He is currently an average QB which in the NFL is not saying much. And what they gave up to get an average QB is one of the worst trades in the NFL's history.
Yes, and that average scoring offense benefited immensely from advantageous starting position thanks to Denver’s dominant defense and special teams. Here is the number of yards Wilson’s offense had to go to score on each of their four scoring drives yesterday:
39 50 10 20
That’s an average of 29.8 yards per drive. I guess one nice thing we can say about Wilson at this point in his career is that he can still get his team points if they only need 30 yards to score! Never mind that he got sacked 6 times yesterday, and it was his fifth game of the season in which he had a QBR of less than 50.
Bottom line is the guy is completing around 65% of his throws, has a great 16-4 TD.INT and a studly 100 passer rating. Hell he only had 16 td passes all of last season.
So how is Geeno Smith doing with a Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf?
About the same comp%, 9-6 td/int and a 91 passer rating. Pretty much inferior to Wilson.
Tom Brady's career numbers inferior to 65% and a 100 passer rating.
Give Wilson a GRONK or a Travis Kelce.

The same thing about a great D can be said about Wilson when he was with Seattle. The defense, with their Legion of Boom, was the biggest strength of those teams, not Wilson. Let’s not forget that a Wilson interception cost the Seahawks a Super Bowl win.
How many mediocre QB's have a 100 passer rating? How many mediocre QB's are 16-4 TD/INT after 8 weeks? The guy is having a good season and only a rookie wouldnt see that.

So that D was why Wilson was in NINE pro bowls and has all those 4th Q comeback records?
Here ya go rookie, how things really were.
The Broncos ended up winning 31-28, marking Wilson's 32nd career comeback win. Wilson now ranks 10th on the NFL's all-time list for career fourth-quarter comeback wins (including playoffs), one spot behind John Elway (35).Oct 4, 2023
Why so many comebacks if that D was so great?

No, bottom line is Wilson *was* a great quarterback but is now an overpaid mediocre quarterback with a 45.3 QBR that ranks 21st in the league.
How many mediocre QB's have a 100 passer rating? How many mediocre QB's are 16-4 TD/INT after 8 weeks? The guy is having a good season and only a rookie wouldnt see that.
People can try to justify things via stats but it ultimately comes down to "does a player make their respective team better or worse":
Simply put, Denver is FAR WORSE OFF for having traded for him and Seattle is FAR BETTER OFF for getting rid of him.
So wrong it's comical, compare Geeno's stats vs Wilsons this season.
Give Wilson a Kelce, Lockett Metcaft.
You claim RW is a top tier QB yet you are comparing him to Geno? Geno is a journeyman QB who until his chance last year was a depth chart backup and somewhat lucky to be in the league. And with that chance he posted stats exceeding ANY RW ever put up in his entire career.
It is nearly impossible to have players like Metcalf or Kelce when you sink half of the salary cap, not to mention 1st & 2nd round draft picks into a now mediocre QB.
Denver will take years to recover. Seattle will continue to climb. All due to one TERRIBLE trade making one team MUCH better and other MUCH worse.
Not claiming anything simply going witn the facts, Wilson is completing better than 65% of his passes has a great 16-4 td/int and a studly 100 passer rating.
Wilson OBVIOUSLY a far better QB than Geno Smith so Seattle did somethng stupid..
Top TD passers in 2023
1 Kirk Cousins Minnesota Vikings QB 18 1 Tua Tagovailoa Miami Dolphins QB 18 3 Josh Allen Buffalo Bills QB 17 4 Russell Wilson Denver Broncos QB 16
