solo joe, you have to get out there on the track and use this form now! last spring you waited too long and got injured. you are in tremendous shape. some people train through everything until the one moment at the end of outdoor track, where MAYBE they get a huge breakthrough, but probably they get injured or sick or just have a bad race, rather than getting in a race (taking a day off at most, maybe replacing the week's second workout with the race) when training is going incredible.
Oh I'm definitely not holding anything back this weekend in the mile, and I have good competition, so we'll see what happens. The problem is that, now that I am at a difficult school, I've been studying all day for finals and had to take 2 days off from running already, and I haven't slept much either. Plus I'll have 12 hours of driving in the 2 days before the race, which is far from ideal. I'm going to sneak in a run now before I get back to hitting the books.
