Ibarra left it to the last 300m before kicking away to win D3 in 15:49 to Mauricio Herrera's 15:56! Team battle looks close! Monache looks to have won!
A lot of posts on here have been reported as "factually incorrect" but we have not deleted them as we don't follow the CA HS scene and don't know what is factually incorrect. If you want to email us about something you know to be factually incorrect, please do so at letsrun@letsrun.com.

Last update as I gotta get going: Monache beats Reedley by 1 point!
My above posts were meant to say D2 not D3, btw.
D3 Girls had Templeton's Frannie Perry winning in 19:05 and Monache the victory to make it a successful day for the school with D2 boys and D3 girls wins!
D4 Boys had Evan Torres winning in 15:53, as expected, but the team winner was Del Oro with a 60-88 win over Justin Garza High School with McFarland a distant 3rd with 108 pts. I'm not sure if that's a crazy upset or if I'm just terrible at predictions.
D2 Girls saw Mia Torrecillas leading Highland to a win with a 18:10 individual victory.
D3 Boys was all Joshua Bell from Templeton who cruised to a 15:12 victory. Sophomore Benjamin Fernandez was second in 15:48 and lead Matilda Torres to a victory!
Last race of the day, D4 girls, is on!
Last race of the day had Shelby Taylor of Morro Bay taking the D4 girls win in 19:09.03 and Kerman taking the win over Morro Bay with Arvin a distant 3rd.

It looks like they're running Woodbridge at SS finals. Gonna be a ton of sub 14 minute 3 mile times
San Clemente beat Great Oak (without W Brown) in D1 CIF-SS. Solid top-5 grouping for San Clemente. Their 6th and 7th are far back. I think San Clemente will win the D1 state title if W Brown doesn’t come back.
Trabuco Hills took 3rd
Millikan missed the state meet by 3 points. Ouch
Dybdahl beats FastHorse
D2
1. Santa Barbara
2. Ventura
3. Newbury Park
Do you have any indication of how hard they're trying? I only ask because I noticed that Dybdahl and Santa Barbara beat Fasthorse and Ventura. Just wondering if some teams are leaving something in the tank? Thanks
I don't know him, but poor Grant Miller from La Serna. Posted a 14:37.3 with Nathaniel Horrocks of Foothill, but it looks like Horrocks is advancing to state and Miller isn't. Not sure how official these results are, but I'd be heartbroken to miss out.
Pretty much a flat asphalt course. Should be even faster than Woodbridge. They are calling it 3 miles. I GPS'd twice came up with 2.95 and 2.99. Saw one Strava readout of 3.06. I suspect 3.0 is pretty accurate.
this did not age well
Wouldn’t be surprised if Ventura saved something for the CIF state meet. All they needed to do here was qualify
Dana Hills wins Cif SS D3 finals with 29 pts over West Ranch 108. Evan Noonan and Jayden Hernandez go 1, 2 again with Evan running the fastest time through all divisions at 13:56. That is his fourth sub 14:00 3 mile race this year.
Dana Hills also had the fastest team time through all divisions in 1:12:21 with a 14:29 ave. San Clemente ended the day with the second fastest team time in 1:12:34 and 14:31 ave.
Their girls are pretty good too.
I am not sure they really wanted to lose the team championship or the individual
