With Jamaica taking themselves out twice, the USA should take five relay gold medals. Although a non-American it makes it more interesting and tgus thread is hilarious, it is hard to comprehend how bad it is considering the level of competition.
Ok. Bol had to produce a miracle, but the women's 4x100m was really bad despite their win. They had the running strength and opposition that were not brilliant. It was, in fact, the worst final I have seen in these olympic games. In no other event did you get a medal with such obvious flaws.
Sure, it is impressive in a way, and it makes it easier for other countries to win, but in the end, it is disrespectful to compete at the Olympics with this kind of attitude.
