This is bittersweet to me, don't get me wrong, I like Kipchoge, he's a very hardworking man, he's humble, talented and is proving we can break a lot of limits if we focus. But at the same time, we have to remember we aren't Kipchoge, and even if we're better than him in somethings, at the end of the day we don't have a whole group of scientis helping us, we don't have special "shoes" to help us break our everyday limits.
I felt more motivated because Bekele was able to comeback after so many Injuries, that is something more relatable, but Kipchoge is different, he is like an exception to every rule, and maybe thats why I don't feel the same happyness, when I see him, I don't see our everyday struggles.
But hey, this is just me, maybe i'm just jealus.
Sorry, I'm Still learning English
Let me get this straight....
Kipchoge grew up in poverty, living in a f-ING hut or something and had a childhood filled with hard labor and deprivation. By insane will and determination he has risen from one of the lowest positions in the world (poverty in a corrupt third world country and broken family to boot) to achieve unbelievable success.
You are dissing him because he can’t relate to......your......struggles?
Wow. I think you have pushed past a threshold of retardation that I never thought was possible. Even here.
Truly a break through day.
