Yeah they suck at coaching. Same with Arkansas back in the day. Some of these teams are so loaded with recruited talent that they don't even need to train to do well.

No different from what Washington State University and UTEP were doing back in the 1970's. They were probably even worse than Alabama as the talent they imported were world class.
Or Oklahoma Staye on the men’s side who had to bring in Kenya’s national team to beat NAU last fall…The entire NCAA will follow this formula if they want to podium. Florida just stole Hilda Oleimodi from Alabama. Look out for Florida in the fall. No chance Parker goes pro now. They’re going after the national title.

How can you single out Alabama when almost every top distance program has a backbone of foreign athletes? Seems as though when they're European nobody cares but being Kenyan is a crime?
Also, what is cheap about it? When did the NCAA create an age limit?
Because Bama has a historic role in slavery?

That’s ridiculous. You’re still working to develop the talent on your team regardless of where they come from.
It's crazy when Georgia or Alabama has the #1 recruiting class they're applauded. When schools bring in top athletes that are deemed eligible by the NCAA the schools are dragged through the coals on here and called "cheaters". Sounds like your gripe is with the NCAA.
“Importing Kenyans”?!!! That’s so racist
the only thing all these Kenyan runners at Alabama proves is how bad the coaching staff is. UTEP did this but at least they have a bunch of XC titles to show for it. And say what you want about the ethics of Dave Smith but at least he won a XC championship with his Kenyan ringers.
