Wow. Nearly beats the veterans! That's a great time.

Her physique looks good in track mode! Seriously, something runnerishly stronger (advantage) in her form profile.
see this is why im leaving wtf does this mean?
Jorgenson is going to be better as the distance gets longer. This combined with the fact she’s 6 months post-partum should strike fear in the minds of U.S. long distance runners.
Totally a contract race. Guarantee you Cap was like "show me" before any contacts are signed. The mutual flirtation beteen BTC and Gwen has been ongoing for some time. I bet she'll be in red by Payton Jordon

She also shot 82 at Pebble Beach. Not too shabby for an occasional golfer.
Afterwards she wrestled a great white shark to submission, then released it unharmed. IMO, that is more impressive, but the articles never report it, because it isnt as relatable to middle america as a golf score.

I thought she was targeting the marathon - is she too fast twitch for that?
See Grete Waitz, Ingrid Kristiansen, Dibaba, Spedding, Treacy, Lopes, Viren, Gebrselassie, Nyambui, Shorter.
This is an amazing result. No wonder she dominated Triathlon.

Or Payton Jordan.
Has she decided on a training group yet? Who is currently coaching her?
She's with BTC
I thought that it was Jenny Simpson that wrestled the great white shark?
Or Poytan Jardon.
Pretty good she ran much faster than what she did in college.

Isn't the marathon more lucrative?
True, which means more depth and more difficulty making the marathon team. She’ll probably try both, but the odds are greater to make the 5K/10K team.
Gwen clearly thinks the marathon is her thing.
Her 15:15 is faster than JH’s pb and it’s obvious, GJ will run faster in a 5k but I think her potential in the marathon will be greater.
I’m hoping for a fast time in Boston and an heir to Flanagan will be apparent-Huddle or Hasay. Linden & Cragg will be past their marathon prime along with Flanagan in 2020. Whenever Gwen races a half/marathon, we’ll have a better idea of the true heir to Flanagan.
It’s not likely that she’ll win gold in 2020 but it’s not inconceivable. She may be the best American marathoner in Tokyo. In that case, it’s not a bad thing to dream big.
How about Kipchoge, gold in world championship 5K.

Sub 14:45 outdoor peak race this season.
she runs 15:15 and suddenly you think she's gonna be the #2 US all-time?
Infeld has a 14:54 PR and ran 15:15i. Haven't seen the video but not sure how the race played out.
Infeld’s PR is 14:56.
She also shot 82 at Pebble Beach.

She seems to have endowments not usually seen on a woman that lean and fast.
I noticed that too. Her shoulders are impressive.
I'd eat the corn out of her sh It ...........
And I don't even like corn !!!!!!!!
I'm a huge fan of Gwen's, and I do see her having a decent chance of making the team in 2020. However, some perspective---she ran 15:15 for 5,000.....the lead women at the RAK Half Marathon the other night went through 5K in in the same time, with 10 miles left to run.
She’s looking good for the 2020 team wrote:
It’s a great time for a post pregnancy race!
I predict Huddle, Jorgensen and Hasay for team 2020. And Jorgensen will crush Hasay in 2019/2020.
This is a bit of a stretch to use one indoor 5k as a predictor for the Olympic Marathon team. Great run though.

Couldn't watch either of these because Flocrap owns the rights to them.
