I learn something new every day.
You are looking for something that is in your head
If that's what you choose to take away from what I wrote and only include a small part of it to base everything you say off of it then that's fine. The disparity in treatment on this website between white male runners and everyone else is not in my head. This websites dedication to point out where some American runners were born and not others is not in my head...
Look no further than how much they had to put "American born winner" in front of Galen Rupp's name after Chicago. Rupp and KK are both American, both runners, and both champions. We do not need to distinguish between where KK and where GR were born, as if to say that GR is a true American and KK is not. It's garbage. Let's have a dialogue instead of you just picking and choosing what you want to quote. Why do you think there is no bias here at LRC?...
You should have brought this point out on the Rupp vs KK thread. Not this one. Your point on this thread is not relevant.
As an older white male myself, I don’t care about people’s colour. Knight, who happens to be black, is the first Canadian born to win NCAA XC. That’s it... Fisher, who happens to be white, will not be the first Canadian born athlete to win NCAA XC if he wins next year.
You on the other hand seem to obsess about colour.
