Wow, Portland! They'll move up in the rankings big time!

Props to Portland, very impressive.
WCC Championships just got a lot more interesting!
How does NAU's score put them in the race history? That's a good low score...

They were only 25th coming in.

Portland? Why aren't we all praising Michigan. I've never seen a split-squad strategy pay off in such a big way. Incredible.

idk, having second thoughts about picking Stanford pre-season though haha
their top3 WOW 4-5 faded towards the end which may add up more over 2 more K, 3 top guys will be very strong though for sure.

Lowest since 2010. But this is the most impressive men's run ever at this meet considering this race didn't really start getting big until 2011/2012. For reference, there were 20 ranked teams in today's field and 21 teams total in the 2010 race.
Did wisco tempo their own meet?

LOL
It will be heartbreaking if Allie O is injured again.
What happened to AllieO?
No they did not. Unfortunately they did their very best.

That's what we'd all like to know I think. She finished 9th, well behind Kurgat. Maybe the past 2 years of injury has finally caught up with her? Or she is training through this meet (due to missed training due to injuries)? She's a massive talent, so she'll be back in quick order - if not by XC Nats, then by the time Outdoor track rolls around.
That NAU Team is impressive. I think they are the overwhelming Favorite going to Nationals. Congrats to NAU and Portland as well. They run impressive.
Big Sky Conference with 2 teams in the top 8. Let's go mid-majors!!!!
Full men's analysis is now up. We tell you who choked and who surprised.

Probably not injured since she finished pretty high up.
She probably fell at the start. Through 2k she wasn't even in the top 40. She looked to have moved up steadily at every marker. Of course, that's a guess. Maybe the kid had an off day. No worries. She will still win NCAAs in November.
I think we see AllieO go again against New Mexico in 2 weeks at the MW Conference meet. So we'll probably learn more at that time.
