I wonder if Imane Merga brought his boxing gloves. Dirtiest runner ever.

Who's winning?
no. we are suffering like you are, as well as suffering the bigot's posts.
is german really pacing? If he is the guy they want to get to 5k, it would take a PR for him to get there (and nothing indicates he is in 5k PR shape at this point that we have seen).
German pacing through 1200 so far in 3:13 (26:48 pace). Mo looking antsy in 4th. Jenkins and Derrick not anywhere in the lead pack.

I give him 3k before he drops out. Who's behind waiting to take it up?
Just a side note that was Molly Huddle's 10th time under 15 minutes the first American woman to do so.
5:23 at 2000m (26:55). German is out, Mo in second place right now, Rop leading. Yator in 3rd. Merga Bekele etc right behind Mo.
Farah in 3rd at 1600 in 4:18. German Fernandez paced one mile and dropped out.
Jenkins is way way back I'd say 80 yard back. So maybe just shooting for the Olympic qualifier.
6:27 at 2400. No changes in the order. 7:31 at 2800. Still hanging on 26:50 pace.

so gf pace maker for 5 laps at much slower pace than mo's pr - worth it.
Rop has continued to pick it up, 8:34 at 3200 (26:46). Mo still hanging in second with a long single file line behind him.
Do they sell beer at the meet??...if so, what kind?
Is Pappas getting in the way at all? She hasn't finished the 5000 yet per my notes.
rabbit (rop) is beginning to pull away. GF only made it 1600...

Yeah, not sure who thought GF was the right man for this job.
little gap to mo now. Perhaps pace too quick?
Farah has on a sharp blue jersey. Not like everyone elses.
8:35.5 for him at 3200 so slightly quicker than 1600.
Rop (not Rupp) continues to lead. Farah in 2nd.
