I heard he's not been training at all, but sitting around all day anonymously trolling internet running forums, bragging about his greatness. Expect a DNS.

I went down to my local track and saw Bekele running 63 second quarters and throwing back two or three snickers bars per lap. I told Marty Liquori about it and he sh*t himself
Expect great things
Driving down the Interstate I was overtaken by Bekele running in the left lane. Expect great things.
Unverified, but I HEARD he had been doing some speed work. Last weekend I saw him practicing relay changes with the Ethiopian 4*100m relay team. Expect a change of plans for Bekele.
I saw him coming out of a nail salon wearing a skirt. Expect great things, Caster!
I saw him training his character, Benenisa Kekele, on second life. Not only did he run very fast, but he was also capable of flying. And, his character was caucasian in second life. Expect great things and a potential race change.
Prince Philip and I had the little fellow over to the Palace for high tea, he told us to expect great things.
Unfortunately Philip once again disgraced himself by saying “What are you doing here?†“I was invited, sir.†Philip: “Well, you didn’t have to come†and then declaring to the little fellow that he could expect great things like a size 12 boot up his arse if he should happen to beat any of our top ranked runners from the Great British Empire. However, he did congratulate him on the quality of his teeth though, something we British hold very dear.
I saw him pacing Chris Froome up Mont Ventoux the other day. Froome wasn't riding his bike though - he was on foot.
Still.... expect great things.
The London Marathon was held earlier this year.
The victory was contested to the line by 6 runners.
Here is the photo finish video in slow-motion.

Everyone expected great things from Bekele and he made good pipping WR holders and multiple Major winners over the line.

I saw him in my dreams last night. He was kicking away from Geb, El G, Komen, and Mo Farah-each man in his prime-to win a glorious 5000m in 12:35.45. It was arousing.
Expect great things.

I think that was just a press shot, not the actual race. The race is longer, I believe, unless they changed the course.
Bekele looked smooth though, very good. Ran the tangent. Kipchoge looked a beaten man.
I saw him practicing a portaloo stop and then busting his legs through the bottom of the portaloo and running along, whist maintaining 4.40min miling and whilst pushing out a slow yet relieving log. Expect great things.
I was driving down the I-95 when I saw Kenenisa in my side mirror, his tongue was hanging out. I asked him if he was tired. He said "no, I stick out my tongue to signal that I'm going to pass you". Expect big things.
I saw him grinding an axe, it had enscribed on the side 2009-2016. Expect bloody revenge.
I saw him eat a whole packet of pop tarts and skip his lunch run. Expect a poptastic race.
I saw him kung fu fighting. He was fast as lightning. In fact, it was a little bit frightening. Nevertheless, I expect great things.

I saw him doing nothing but speed endurance workouts at 1:59 pace - expect great things.
