I am a UVA track alum as well. And like anyone with common sense and a connection to the school, I called in order to hear what was up. I was given a concise reply and that it is a legal issue. Hence what can be said is limited. I was also told that the school only replys to legitamate news agency's. Not agenda driven message boards. If you truly are an alum, that is a shame.
Did they really say they only reply to legitimate new agencies, not "agenda driven message boards?"
Can you pleae email me at

1. We are the running press. The Washington Post doesn't spend thousands of dollars to get credentialed and go to Worlds. We do.
2. I went out of my way to hear their side of the story. If there was a good explanation for it, I likely wouldn't have published.
I'm wondering if you are a troll because they did reply to me. The AD called me at least 3 times asking for more time before I published as he wanted to get back to me. I found his reply to ultimately be very disappointing but they did reply.
