jx10, that is a bit of a misrepresentation of anything Marcus O Sullivan would tell anyone.
It just would not be a scholarship time ay 4:11, I coached a 4 :11 HS'er and he was quite up front with how much money and what the opptys were and they were more than fair.
First of all Parlapiano and Kerrigan, both who ran sub 4 or close equivs came in as 4:17 guys
Second he travels second tier guys to may meets, Florida, W and M, Invite, Armory, every year, if you run Big East Q'ers which are soft, he tries to spread line up to include as many as he can.
There is a prevailing thought on here and other places that Marcus, because he winds up with a lot of foreign athletes, only recruits that way, that is not true, the fact is tons of U.S. guys go to BCS state schools, where it is easier to manufacture offers with lower academic standards etc.
The other limiter is same types of guys, he recruits get huge finncial aid offers from Ivies, even as guys who would not make it in, unless they were high quality runners.
