I'm certain you are in better condition and run smarter than all of the people that end up in the medical tents.

Back in my day we ran regardless of weather...0 degrees...whatever, I'm running in shorts...100 degress...whatever, I'm racing a marathon, shooting for a PR and I'm going to wear a cotten shirt so I loose my nipples.

Fly here from Honolulu and I'll take you on a 10 mile run when it's 8 out with a windchill of 0. We'll see how tough you are when your dick freezes.
That's a very generous offer. Mahalo!
Can you sweeten the deal and spare an
extra Packer ticket for a home game
sometime in December?
I grew up on the mainland and as a kid
delivered newspapers and remember one
day in February before sunrise when the time and temperature
clock at the bank read minus twenty-six degrees
Fahrenheit and that didn't include the wind chill.

Is it time for new marathon rules? Perhaps there should be a big shade tree every 75 feet? Or something like that?
I vote for race personnel running beside me carrying a parasol or perhaps a portable air conditioner. It's my constitutional right to have perfect weather for the race. If not, it's up to someone else to take personal responsibility for me.
I believe you. you are an exception though and most likely wouldn't even be caught in a larger road race. I watch the results of 50K and 50M trail races and many only have a couple of hundred people. Honestly I think most ultra people aren't even interested in what Let's Run people say or do...........this must be your day off
