As far as I've read, the doping part is only one component of the investigation. The others being perjury, fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, intimidation of a material witness. He should be charged for leaving his beautiful wife for hideous Cheryl Crow. Course, as Lancey points out, you can't believe everything you read in the newspapers. I guess you'll have to count out the dribble from American newspapers over the last 10 years calling him a hero and a great champion then.
Why is it so important that he's caught when "everyone" else was doping? Because everyone wasn't doping. Doesn't matter if you have to go 50th into the peloton to find the deserving winner. The yellow jersey doesn't mean sh*t if you can't win it fairly.
