You couldn't be more wrong about this. How is bauhs cocky and arrogant? He is extremely quiet and shy. He is very humble actually. He VERY rarely talks about his own running to other people unless they specifically ask. Serrano is happy with the 5k win and he does not think Bauhs "owns him" nor the other way around. As for Scott "throwing up his arms", he was excited that Chico State just had ANOTHER national champ... he wasn't proud for himself.. he was proud for the team work and effort of that year.Bauhs is a great kid. To call him a bastard or a dick means you have something personally against him. I think a lot of people would agree that he is harmless and good hearted- probably a little goofy, too.
I'm going to have to step in and comment on a few things.
1. Scott Bauhs is an arrogant, cocky bastard. Ask some of his teammates ( the ones who don't worship him)
2. He let Serrano win at nationals. Not to share the spotlight, but to let Serrano know that he totally owns him. If he wanted to share the spotlight and be a nice, selfless guy he wouldn't have thrown his arms up and smiled at the crowd like a cocky dick soaking up all the attention while his teammate took the race seriously
3. Gary Towne is a pretty cool guy. I don't know why you are taking shots at him.
4. Bauhs outkicked NicoD, but does anyone remember how many races Bauhs ran before the 5k??[/quote]

-how is it that you know the inner workings of Scotty Bauhs's soul????? Are you his therapist or something?
And who gives a shizat, in 10 years, Serrano will still have a national title, there will be no asterick next to it saying "well scott bauhs gave it to him".
You sound really bitter for some reason, give it a rest and let Serrano enjoy his championship.

You don't know running if you would take Bauhs. McDougal is WAY better, you must be a D2 person or something because that is the only reason anyone would have for thinking he could stick with McDougal.
I called you out - not the other way around. - Tell you what what son, I have forgotten more about running and track and field than you will ever know.
Both have equal talent but MCDougal has suffered under horrible coaching for years which at best has instilled poor and incomplete training (yes there is more to training than just miles). This does not mean McDougal does not work hard. But Buah's coaching is just simply better which will make him better in the long run.
