Americans continue to be perpetually bad at handovers......
Even the women were bad, but that was comical with the men.
When the jamaicans were dominating, they had on top of that great handovers.
China is laughing with the medal table.
Kenny B goes too early and Kerly doesnt go at all. So horrible
JFC. It's all individual performances, obviously, but the USA really does seem cursed in the 4x1. Does USTAF not care enough to blow all this talent with some sort of directive - like if you make the really pool you have to submit to at least a couple hours of lecturing and handoff practice. Does a USA coach not gather the group beforehand and remind them of their history? Ugh. But, that's sports. No one to blame but themselves; don't deserve it.

4 more years I guess
I'm REALLY happy for DeGrasse though
Like i've always said: He never leaves without a medal. Ever.
Do the French not know about roof covers? What a freaking joke these events are taking place in such poor conditions that’s so easily preventable. No AC, no retractable roof, good job running the Olympics Europe.

As much as I would like to blame Coleman that was Kenny’s fault
Worst handoffs in the history of the Games.
Why did they change the order?! Should have kept Fred at 2nd since they already worked the exchanges.

Kenny B left too early, had to hold up, and were out of the zone.
Fred left too late and too slow and looked back. jeeeezusss!
Meanwhile, Congratulations to Andre DeGrasse and Canada
Fred always takes off too late. somebody show me if he's ever taken a good handoff.
Lyles in his wheelchair would have been more useful than Kenny Bednarek there
I still cannot believe how early Kenny went. HS athletes have better discipline than that.

I mean kerley 100% knew it was a DQ. I’m surprised he ran at all.

You gotta b kidding me. looked like a jv team running the 4x1 for the first time ever
Exactly my thoughts.
i think you can safely change that to DQ
And the results now show us with a DQ. Wonderful.
If we were only switching one runner from the prelim, why not just put Kenny at anchor? Fred had already taken the hand-off from Coleman in the prelims and handed to kyree.
The Universe must have balance
US men crush distance running?
Well the relay is sus in the best years so...
Absolutely awful. How hard is it to watch until the guy hits the tape and go? Bednarek was so early and Kerley looked like he was starting the long jump with those slow first steps.
What continues to kill me about the handoffs is that every single one of these guys ran hundreds of relays as kids, in high school, in college. The US LOOOOOVVVEEEES relays. We have whole relay meets with nothing but relays. And every fvcking olympics, our guys fvck up the relays!!!!!

Yeah, the GBR women looked marginal from Hunt to Neita.
The USA one was just terrible. Both had a hold of the baton well after the line.
Cole Hocker to Nike: "Yesterday's price is not today's price"
Wow. How NOT to run a 4 x 100. US men's medal drought in 4 x 100 is now going to extend to 24 years
