You're making my point. If you only race four times a year, it's fairly easy to train so that the "major championship" is your fastest race in that year. But we don't know if that was truly when he peaked in fitness. In other words, you get an "apparent peak".
Get real. The only races that matter are WC and the Olympics. WRs are great too, but so far Jakob hasn't broken any in a distance that matters.
Okay, so answer this: how do you know that Kerr was at his absolute peak of fitness at the WC last year? And how do you know he will be at his peak next week? With actual proof rather than the false claim that "he's a master at peaking." Can you please share how you actually know that?
Yes correct, Jakob we all forgot to mention seems very shy or girly when it comes to the real tough WRs at olympic distances. He seems very happy to break off-distance records because they are 'soft' so to speak lol!!!!!!! Even my guy Josh KERR has been taken by Jakob to also run an off-distance 2 mile WR indoors which I'm just afraid will turn him into a girl like Jakob as well!!!! But thankfully, KERR has remained a man, and THE MAN of men among men!!!!!!!!!
KERR has avoided vainly racing multiple diamond league races to avoid becoming conceited and self-aggrandizing of his truest abilities, preferring to act like a real man of men and put all his eggs to win the only race that matters which is major championships!!!!!
People simply don't appreciate just how different a championship final is to a DL race with lights and pacers. Jakob is the inferior championship racer. If he wasn't, we wouldn't all be so sure he's going to take it out hard. He's the runner who is least comfortable racing off a slow pace and leaving it to a kick. You have to be delusional not to see that. Kerr has a massive advantage in knowing that he's one of the very few who could hang on to Jakob and is likely the only one who could squeeze a bit more juice from his legs to snipe him.
So he’s the inferior championship racer, but he has better results in championship races than anyone else in the field, is that what you are saying? Yes, it is!
Kerr has beaten Ingebrigtsen ONCE in a championship race.

He's just done one of his fastest workouts ever. But don't take my or his word for it. When he takes the gold you have your proof. You all will agree with me then while offering excuses for Jakob.

Until he can front run to a championship win, I maintain he lucked out in Tokyo 1500 with Tim offering to pace him to secure a medal himself. Then we all know what happened at the 2022 and 2023 WC 1500. I'm not taking away from the guy being amazing and clearly more decorated overall, just saying he's not king of the 1500. And over the last year it's been Kerr at the top. Outdoor gold, indoor WR and gold, convincing win over Jakob at Pre. I have no reason to doubt Kerr has an even stronger chance at gold in Paris. He's in the best shape of his life and is mentally and tactically the sharpest of everyone. If Jakob had a serious kick I'd give him the edge here, but Kerr is just too fast and savvy now for me to not favor him. Nothing like Whitman who dropped off the map. Kerr has stamped himself as the guy to beat.
People need to stop acting like Kerrs kick is a magnitude better. I’m not certain it’s ANY better. He outsprinted a sick Jakob last year and this year at Pre Jakob didn’t lose a SINGLE step on him the last lap despite his first race back from injury.

Love to be the inferior championship racer that has won a lot more championship medals.
