What do you want them to focus the camera on? I watched the opening intro and was amazed by1) how good the production value of the broadcast was and 2) how small the crowd was.
I actually really enjoyed the posts on this thread.
It makes you realize how hard it is to promote track. While not the biggest meet you have Mu Wilson WR holder in 100nh and previous one etc. In other words very few could get these fields. But very small crowd and few watching online
I enjoyed meeting. 400m mens was highlight.
Dude… everybody wishes they were Quincy. That young man is unreal.
I’m too lazy to look it up… what was the top 3 400 times at the Olympic trials?

Bolling ran a PR. Lost to a kid, but so did everyone else. Still think Bolling should give decathlon a shot though or at least not give up on long jump.
I think they need to put a "pitch clock" on the sprint starts. Especially after a false start. You would have to train the starters and officials to get the race ready too. The same way pitchers learned to deliver the ball within the allocated time the sprinters would have to get back in the blocks with a predetermined, reasonable time.
Preemptive excuses for when they lose?
Local newspaper did not have a word about meet, despite a local press conference, with athletes. Five articles on the SEC football media day.
