50 states, there are typically 16 events per a regular state track meet, that’s 16 events times 50 states is 800 opportunities.
So, you mean out of 800 opportunities these trans kids won just 5 events. Oh, my you're right I see the problem, LMAO.
I don't know why these trans threads keep dominating the discourse on this site. I mean when the Olympic Trials and Olympics starts, they will cover it but some obscure tread about these trans kids will be above a thread about the Jakob/Kerr battle, LMAO. Here's some more math, why does his site never cover "world class" trans runners dominating female runners. Because there has never been such a thing as a world class transgender runner.
Transgender people were allowed to complete nationally and international from 2004 until the Olympics in 2021. In that time of multiple Olympic, World Championship and Diamond League cycles not to mention hundreds of road track and cross country races and many marathons, a trans person has never even medaled, and in track never made a final and in fact were not even good enough to ever make it to one of these prestigious events.
The only trans person who even competed once in a world class event was marathoner Megan Youngren in the 2020 US Olympic Trials and did, they beat Molly Seidel and make it to the Olympics, oh hell no, they finished 230th. This issue has never been about trans people dominating women’s sports, the 18-19 years when they were allowed to compete tells us that and even the few who win high school events is such a small number.
This is more about vilifying a community. I keep seeing threads about republicans, conservatives and liberals, so since there are no facts to back an assertion, this seems to be 100% politics.
It would be different if in those years of 2004 to 2021 when they were free to compete in every event, if they had beat women and won Olympic medals or world championship medals or even made teams or won marathons, it would be different, but this community free to compete against women have not won a darn thing of note in now 20 years.
Sure Seb Coe but a restriction against trans people competing in 2022, but there were no trans people doing anything in the previous 18 years anyway so the restriction was stupid and everyone with half a brain knows his restriction had nothing to do with trans women competing in the Olympic in track because none ever has and there has not been one documented would class trans track athlete on the whole planet.
He did this to stop runners like Francine Niyonsaba and other DSD aka disorders of sexual development, women who were medal threats.
But he couldn’t just go after them because they were all from small African or third world countries and they are all black, so he lumped in non medal threats like transgender people to make it look better and if you don’t know that you don’t know anything!
So, let’s call it what it is, and with regard to the US its political and a hatred for this community and doesn’t have a darn thing to do with women's sports.
Once you acknowledge what it is then we can have a real debate and I am sure religion will have something to do with this issue at its core :)
Let's say what it is in terms of this discussion about transgender people. We all know that the creators of this site are conservative and therefor many of the active users of this thread are conservative. In the US the folks who support the LGBT community are progressive and those who don't are mostly conservative.
This topis brings attention which helps this site. I looked back in the history of the transgender topic on this forum and it is one of the most popular on this Letsrun.
In 2004 when the IOC approved transgender people to compete internationally including the Olympics, some one on the forum with lots of likes said oh now it is only a matter of time till a transgender person ran the first 4 minute mile in the women's division.
That was 2004, well still waiting :)
Even the headlines are written to bring attention. 5 states, last I checked there were 50 states LMAO.
I am just hoping at least in the two weeks of Olympic coverage they can concentrate more on Jakob kicking Kerr's butt rather than obscure topics like this generated from conservative newspapers, but I won't cross my fingers :)
Oh I am surprised that Letsrun hasn't start writing about Caitlin Clark. Now that is a topic I'd love to talk about because that girl is amazing. Oh I know it's not track but heck this site and this forum talks non track topics all the time!

WA tightened the screws on trans with its current eligibility policy in 2023, not 2022. To me Coe’s statements before then sounded trans-averse, so it’s not clear that he didn’t intend to also go after trans. The eligibility rules are codified separately and the ones for trans in my view are harsher than those for intersex because of the irreversible permanence of a decision that is forced upon a child athlete before 12.
The intersex policy arguably needed tightening after 2016, just going by the odds of all three 800 medalists coming from the global intersex subgroup compared to the much larger cis subgroup. There wasn’t such a quantitatively demonstrable empirical unfairness argument for trans, but one could reasonably argue that the trans restrictions had to be at least as strict as those for intersex. WA’s requirement for trans is essentially the same as DSD plus the Tanner2/12 rule.
Almost all of the outrage here and elsewhere is definitely just politics, especially with the current WA rules.

This year it's 5.
Next year it's 10.
Following year 20.
Blah blah blah math you get my point.
The real point is even if only one actual born girl is displaced, it's one too many.
Why are actual born females the only marginalized group that its still acceptable to oppress and steal from in favor of someone who is in FACT and SCIENCE a male?

Spot on. Waaaaay too much attention and energy on this issue. They just love culture wars. Even the R-wing article only mentions 8 competitors, LOL. So essentially 0% of all HS athletes.
BTW, I actually agree that there should be a stipulation that one should compete with the sex they were born as. That’s aside from gender.
Many of the incels on here are, of course, just transphobic bigots amongst other things.
It doesn’t matter if it is 5 or 100, trans girls are girls, so they should run with girls. If they win, then they are the girl champions. There is no “math” involved in agreeing with this.
Track fan 'girl' It only takes 1 if it's your daughter that they/them beat. What number to you think is acceptable? 1? 5? 30?
Same argument for if your daughter is a trans girl and doesn’t even get an opportunity to compete.
^^ except that a trans girl does have an opportunity to compete - on the boys team. The trans kids aren't being denied anything. Every single track meet has the same events they are just choosing to lineup against girls instead of against boys.
The boys that run as girls are otherwise worthless and incompetent and their parents have perverted values. Neither likely add anything positive to society. They all need to be repremanded.

You are an idiot, but at least you are honest and you don't even pretend to care about cis girls (as other morans in countless threads), which you of course don't .

That’s not what the girl or her parents want. It’s stupid irrelevant what you want for her.
As a male, American high school student, you can declare that you are female, participate in female sports, and if you are capable you can win the state championship and there is literally nothing that the females can do about it, because you are supported by a system that has always prioritized male dominance in all things over the needs and rights of females.
This is PEAK - MALE - PRIVILEGE
Consider:
If a female, with credible evidence, claims she was raped by a male celebrity, many in society will immediately call her a liar. They will scream "NO PROOF!"
If a male, with all evidence and science to the contrary, declares that he is a girl, many in society will say he is telling the truth. They will not care about "proof."

Women have it so freaking bad in so many ways.
Hilarious that your brain is so right-pill rotted that you made a pretty strong case that we should treat trans girls as full girls. Welcome to the right side of history.
