Safe sport isn't bound by that part of the law in this situation. Think of it as target banning you from their stores, they don't need a jury to be able to do that

SafeSport has no authority over what happens in the high school, college, AAU, private, etc coaching realms.
This seems like it could be a problem considering many of his athletes seem to be high school athletes.

I didn’t mention the incident in my initial post because over the years it has grown wings. The truth is he did not come back to the party with the rifle, but he did leave in a rage to go retrieve it. If he had returned with a gun the police would have been involved and he would have been booted before winter break.
Can anyone give examples of cases in running where "safe" sport received complaints, looked into it, and did not conclude the allegations were true?
Well you probably wouldn't know about these investigations since they're not publicly reported, right?
I do know of an incident from the coach of a running club where there was a pretty minor incident between two athletes at a party, and one of the athletes reported the club to SafeSport for not doing enough to "protect" them. The club had to go through a whole investigation and everything but in the end there were no sanctions. So there's your example.

In many cases the "3rd parties" were former athletes of Chad or people that frequently worked out with Kaela.
The good news is the 5 fake accounts posting in support of Chad don't matter! Officials made the decision to suspend him based on numerous credible allegations and a half a year investigation, and he won't be allowed near a USATF or World Athletics sanctioned meet again! Maybe he can use this opportunity to seek counseling and help before he finds himself in major legal trouble.
